UNFRIENDLY 1: UNFRIENDLY KAPITBAHAY
12 Lancaster Drive, Cavalry Village
Meet Chanel, a sixteen-year-old girl with a heart of gold. She wears straight-cut full bangs and ties her hair up with chopsticks, giving her a unique charm. Behind her glasses lies a thoughtful gaze; she’s not a geek—she simply has poor eyesight. Her style is casual, often sporting a simple t-shirt, a skirt, and classic white chucks. Unfortunately, her appearance makes her an easy target for teasing, especially from her neighbor, Coco.

Now, meet Coco—also sixteen and the epitome of teenage heartthrob. With spiky hair and deep dimples, he’s every girl’s dream—except for Chanel. He effortlessly pulls off any outfit, exuding charm, but he’s also a troublemaker and a notorious flirt. Despite his good looks and intelligence, he’s the bane of Chanel’s existence.
Living next door to each other, their bedroom windows facing one another, Chanel and Coco have been at odds since childhood. Their long-standing rivalry sets the stage for a story filled with unexpected twists in their contentious relationship.
This is the beginning of their tale as unfriendly kapitbahay—where playful banter turns into something more complicated.
