Ttemme’s Beginning

One day, a few weeks prior to the Cardigan Incident… Emmett was tacking a name sign to his bedroom door for some reason.

“I may as well add SOME decor,” Emmett comments to himself.

While Emmett is trying to affix the sign, Jasper runs and tackles him. Both boys tumble a bit, punching each other. In their scuffle, the name sign gets tipped upside down. Now it says Ttemme!

Edward shows up at that moment. He takes one look at the door sign and thinks to himself, ‘I don’t remember a Ttemme living here! Must be a new kid!’

The scuffle ball rolls and absorbs Edward. Now all three of the boys are fighting! Carlisle grabs a broom and smacks the tangle ball until it rolls outside, then, he shuts the door. All the scuffling is gonna ruin something!

“Why did you have to go and get me involved?!” Edward grumbles, finally pulling himself out of the scuffle.

“That wasn’t intentional, Ed,” Emmett says. “And besides, Jasper started it!”

“Well maybe you shouldn’t be so tackleable!” Jasper argues.

“I have more important things to be doing right now than getting into your scuffles, Emmett, so you better leave me out of it,” Edward says and then mutters very quietly, “Like figuring out who Ttemme is.”

“Oh yeah? I bet you’d like a good punch to the nose!” Emmett argues, threatening Edward with a balled fist.

“Not if I punch first,” Edward says.

WAH-BAM! Edward punches Emmett so hard his face sinks in for a moment before comically springing back to normal. Jasper laughs, scooting away as if he didn’t start a fight. Emmett returns the blow and, soon enough, the two are punching each other’s faces in over and over again. Carlisle stares out the window, clearly disappointed, before he shuts the curtain.

“A’ight, I got a human to stalk. Bye guys!” Edward says, watching Emmett’s face spring back to normal one last time.

“I swear, one of these days… He can’t keep getting away with this!” Emmett cries. “Perhaps I need a new approach…”

“Bruh, your face looks so funny when it’s squished,” Jasper says.

“I’m about to squish your face in a minute!” Emmett cries out.

“Oh yeah?!” Jasper asks.

“Yeah!” Emmett cries out.

“Don’t you two have anything more important to do than fight each other? We’re supposed to be one big happy family,” Carlisle points out.

“We’re play fighting. I’m actually not even hurt,” Emmett points out.

“Yeah,” Jasper says. “We can handle a little bit of a beating.”

There’s a brief moment of silence. Carlisle takes a deep breath, smirking. Uh oh, now they’re in for it. Stripping his doctor coat off, Carlisle jumps into the fray and crushes both boys into basketballs. WAH BAM! Double slam dunk!

“And THAT is how you do it!” Carlisle says.

“Owwww…” Emmett groans, uncurling.

“Gee whizz,” Jasper groans.

“Now where did I put my coat?” Carlisle wonders.

A flash of white catches his attention. The doctor coat got stuck in a tree. He chuckles, leaps straight into the air, and grabs the coat, putting it on before his feet hit the ground again. Then, he waved goodbye and it’s off to do whatever in the heck doctor stuff he does. I don’t know what he does. LOL
