( Abby pov) Derek sighs heavily smiling at me as we pull into their driveway, I remember the house clearly. Our parents brought us here since I was a little girl. The smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves . It was peaceful here , Derek was stuck raising me after mom 's accident. Our parents never got along and my father was always drinking he cheated on her it became too much for mom one day while I was staying here at the beach house Derek phoned me said mom was driving home from work her car hit a tree she had taken sleeping pills before driving. Nora Cullen was like our second mom, then there was Clay Cullen her husband they were friends from high-school with my mom they'd stay friends even after our parents split. Then there was there three boys Nathan who was Derek's best friend who was riding up with him to college. Then there was Skyler he was my age and we had been best friends since I was ten , infact I hadn't told anyone but I grew huge crush on him because he was so nice so handsome with his blonde hair and blue eyes. Then there was Jacob the youngest he was sixteen years old but acted older, he was smart wise . Jacob was born blind but understood me when I was ten years old and my mom had just died he brought me to this gorgeous flower flied with sunflowers we sat there for ages . I never told anyone but , he kissed me that day in the feild . We never talked about it since as I step out of the car throwing my blonde hair over my shoulder softly the entire family comes out too greet us. Nathan smiles at me " holy shit Abby you got hot!" Derek punches him playfully " Don't hit on my sister please....Abigail behave while I'm gone" he says hugging me tightly I sigh heavily " Derek relax , I'll be fine" I tell him skyler smiles at me hugging me tightly " look at you Abby all grown up " he says he steps aside as Jacob smiles feeling my face " you look like her...." he says sighing softly I nod into his hand " yes I do you are right Jacob I look exactly like my mom " Nora smiles at me " come I'm sure you're hungry the boys planned a picnic by the beach" she says we head too the beach and a girl is waving sky down " babe ! Who's that ?" She asks him clinging on for dear life Jacob intrupts her " Abby meet skyler 's girlfriend Tanya her father owns most the properties out here. Tanya this our best friend Abby " he says I smile at her " its nice to meet you,  want too join us ?" I offer her but she wrinkles her nose pulls away dragging sky with her I sit down with Jacob and eat " Don't take it personally Abby, Tanya a piece of work and she runs president school everything " he laughs slightly I sigh heavily looking at him " Jacob.....you've changed " I say to him he smirks at me " how so? " " your hair is darker and you're not wearing your glasses " I point out he grins at me " I got laser surgery years ago....now I only need my glasses in certain lights. I can see you faintly " he says I blush brightly " so you knew what I looked like this entire time?" I ask curiously he shurgs " not really I'm still partially blind , I was your first kiss remember?" He says blushing brightly I blush looking at him I get closer to him leaning my head on his shoulder " Jacob....whatever happens this summer promise me you'll be there for me " he nods " I am not going anywhere Abigail " I stand up dusting myself off and Jacob and I walk the beach we are sitting on some nearby rocks when out of nowhere Tanya looks back at sky playing football on the beach she smirks at me Jacob sighs " Tanya we're not bothering you so back to my brother and your high class friends " she hits him in the head with a rock knocking him into the water I dive in after him screaming at sky for help the life guards hear me help me as they help me . Sky rushes over worriedly " abby what happened to Jacob?!" Iget up angirly looking at his bitch girlfriend " Your fucking girlfriend came over to us whike we were on the cove and hit Jacob in the head with a rock he almost drowned!" I go after herbut sky stops me angirly he turns to tanya " Is it True!?" He shouts at her she nods at him batting her eyelashes he glares at her angirly " We're Done!" He says as he hops in the ambulance with jacob and I . I fold my arms angirly. Skyler sighs heavily looking at me " abby I'm sorry about her, okay I had no idea she'd pull something like that....." I raise my eyebrow at him annoyed " sky that's not the fucking point! She nearly killed your brother! Because she thought I was in the way so she took it out on poor Jacob for protecting me. That's not okay! Im pressing charges on her" he looks at me Abby her father owns half these properties you won't win. " I raise my eyebrow at him annoyed " watch me!" I say glaring at him as we reach the hospital nora meets us there and they wheel jacob in . Only family and were allowed past the doors it just slipped out , not like I dont care for Jacob. " I'm his girlfriend!" The doctors let me threw right away ill never forget the look on skyler 's face . But maybe I was trying to punish him for what tanya did, and part of me really did care for jacob after all he was my first kiss. All I could think of now was jacob getting better and making skyler wasn't pissed off at me. Skyler knocked on the hospital door " hey....why did you say you were Jacob's girlfriend?" He asks me out right I sigh heavily " I said it because the doctors wouldn't let me in here because I'm not family Skyler......why do you care who I date ?" I ask him confused he scoffs " That's not fair Abigail! You know how I feel about you, how I've felt about you all these years what was I supposed to do just wait around for you?" He says looking hurt I raise my eyebrow slightly confused " wait? You've liked me all these years and never told me!?" I ask him curiously he sighs looking at me confused " I thought you knew Derek said he told you....." I stand up out my chair " how the hell does he know?" I ask skyler " because I told him he said he'd tell you.....danm it I'm sorry I was too nervous to tell you myself. And your mom just died ....." I sigh heavily looking at him " sky do you still?" He nods at me smirking I lean my head against his gently then kiss him deeply as he pulls me close his one hand gently on my neck the other tangled in my hair as his tongue melts softly into mine our kiss getting more passionate as I gently bite his bottom lip. He smirks at me backing up " do you mind getting us something to drink?" He winks at me looking down I smile at him blushing " no problem sky I'll go get drinks " I kiss him one last time then close the door. I head too the vending machine smiling I jump getting startled by Derek I hug him tightly " what are you doing here?" I ask him confused " Nora called about Jacob so we rushed back for couple days hey you good?" He asks me worriedly I nod at him smiling at the other end the hallway I can her Nathan and clay arguing with Tanya and her folks about what happened too Jacob. She was laying it on thick that princess A class bitch , making up lies about me sky and jacob. She wasnt going to get away with this not if I had anything to say about it!
