The Beggining
In the beginning, the Monad—the originator of all things—gave rise to vast nothingness, the Void. This plane called the Void, characterized by extreme negativity, then generated positive, living beings existing at the lowest point of existence. These beings, known as the Blind Gods or Zeroes, possessed indestructible nature despite their mindless and abominable form. From the Monad emerged Albion, a more positive entity with form and shape. Albion’s curiosity about the Blind Gods led to a cataclysm, damaging Albion’s very existence.
Albion was divided into fourfold fragments: Urizen, the Law; Urthona, the Reality; Vala, the Soul; and Tharmas, the Mind. The four Zoas, the four came to realize that the Blind Gods must be contained and not trifled with, but it was too late for the other galaxies. The Blind Gods had destroyed one third of the galaxies that had been created over millennia. The Zoas sought to escape and find a way to quell the Blind Gods. They believed that creation could be affected to their measure, but they swore to themselves that they would not intervene in the affairs of mortals. The key to suppressing the Blind Gods is to restore themselves and become Albion once again.
The Zoas convened to discuss how to save the remaining galaxies. Vala, the Soul, was deeply moved with compassion and wanted to intervene, but the others could not agree. Urizen, the Law, forbade it due to the law of the will. Urthona concurred, stating it was forbidden by law, and Tharmas also disagreed, citing the reality of the law.
However, Tharmas, the Mind, found a way to address the situation. They created Metatron, a being of eternal light, to send a message across the galaxies and to their protectors, warning of impending doom. Metatron’s mission was to convince humanity and all races, along with their celestial protectors, to accept the Zoas’ help and instruction in order for them to be save.
