Chapter 1
This whole crazy thing started with a drive to my family's lake house. It was a tradition that my mom, my dad, jacob (my brother) and I (Jasmine) we all go to our lake House for the summer to see my dad's part of the family and my brother and I have friends by the lake too. I loved going to the lake. It felt like home but my dad's family hated my mom, my brother and I. I never understood why they disapproved of my mom when my dad and her started dating then when they got married and had us they hated is too. I didn't really care anymore but I still wish I knew why. I got so excited when Dad told us to get in the car because that meant we were leaving. We had a five hour drive but give hours always felt like half an hour to me. It felt longer thirty minutes this time. It's actually felt like it was never going to end. Usually on the trip I would daydream about what I was going to do there not this time all I could think about was my ex. He was mean and didn't love me at all but I loved him and didn't care how mean he was. He would yell at me and occasionally hurt me but for some stupid reason I kept coming back to him. He also cheated on me meant times. He was my brother's best friend until I told my brother what was going on then me beat him up and they haven't talked to each other since.
