The iron mask

In the moment of Tony Stark's sacrifice to defeat Thanos, the world was mourning its hero Tony stark. The company that Tony had called Stark Industries was inherited by his wife Pepper Potts, and with her daughter Morgan Stark was growing up in a world where her father Tony who was gonna always remembered as a legend/hero who saved the world. Peter Parker on the other hand who is Spider-Man, often found himself reflecting on things Tony’s did and was striving to honor his legacy.

But as the months turned into years whispers and rumours began circulating around the city about a new presence in the world. A man wearing an iron mask and green clothes, who was skilled in technology with terrifying precision. His name was Victor von Doom

Peter Parker was out all through out New York City, his spider senses were tingling with an unease that he couldn't shake off. There were reports of Doom's activities that had reached the Avengers, and they were gathering to discuss about the threat.

At the Avengers Compound, the team that remained assembled. Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson, Natasha Romanoff, and Wanda Maximoff listened carefully as Pepper Potts briefed them in on things that was happening.

"Doom has began to become significant threat to this city," Pepper said, her voice was steady but concerned. "The technology that Doom has rivals even Stark Industries technology, and the goals that he has continue to remain unknown. But there’s something more I found which is more disturbing."

Peter got closer sensing Pepper's hesitation. "What is it?"

Pepper hesitated while glancing at Morgan, who sat quietly beside her, clutching one of the holographic devices Tony had designed. "We've received an images of Dr. Doom and his face. It's an identical match to Tony's face.The room suddenly fell silent, a heavy tension was settling over them. Bruce was shocked trying to process the information. Natasha remained didn’t show any emotion but her eyes betrayed her and showed a hint of disbelief. Sam looked at Pepper refusing to believe it but his eyes looked at Peppers searching for confirmation.

“Are you absolutely sure it’s him?" Wanda asked as she looked at pepper.

Pepper nodded slowly as her eyes glistening as tears were rolling down her cheeks. "I don't know how it's possible cause we saw him die in front of our eyes, but the scans say it’s him. It's Tony."

Morgan's voice broke the silence, her voice was filled with confusion and some hope. "so my dad's alive?"

Peter felt his heart drop. The thought of Tony being alive after snapping the gauntlet was both good and frightening . But if dr doom was really Tony, why was he going by the name Victor von Doom?
