Kira...
Ashley kept babbling not that it was a surprise to Kira but today she seemed to be talking more.
Like she was hiding something.
"Ashley? Ashley? Ashley!" Kira screamed causing Ashley to jump in shock.
"Geez Kira, why don't you scream louder. I don't think they heard you all the way in Paris" Ashley scoffed rolling her eyes.
. I can barely remember events from months ago talk less of years ago. I haven't shifted since we were rescued from the lab. I just think everything feels wrong" Ashley stated making Kira hum.
"Luna can't shift as well and Ken seems off to me" Ashley whispered making Kira sigh.
"Ashley sweetie, when was the last time you ate and had a good night sleep?" Kira questioned making Ashley sigh sadly.
"I don't know. I've just been feeling uncomfortable or maybe it's because the full moon is in two weeks and..."
"And you need sleep" Kira said making Ashley mutter a maybe.
"I'll take you to the pack doctor later but as for now let's get something edible in you" Kira said escorting Ashley to the kitchen.
Kira felt that nagging feeling at the back of her mind telling her that perhaps Ashley is right.
Kira shrugged it off having no idea what was coming their way.

"Hey, doc" Ashley greeted enthusiastically making Kira roll her eyes.
She was just in a bad mood two hours ago but after a plate of chicken alfredo and a nap she's suddenly walking on clouds.
"Ashley? What a surprise" Dr. Dean said dryly, "How can I help you?"
Ashley grinned before holding unto Kira,"We're here for a full body scan"
Kira groaned,"You're the one with a problem not me"
"Yeah but there's no harm in checking yourself out. I mean for all I know, you could be dying inside, right doc?"
Dr. Dean hummed while setting out the instruments clearly ignoring them.
"See? Even doc says it's cool" Ashley said grinning at Kira.
"Fine. I'll get myself checked out" Kira said causing Ashley to hug her tightly.
"Don't worry, Kira. You're not going to regret this" Ashley grinned causing Kira to shake her head with a smile on her lips.
Dr. dean grabbed a syringe before walking towards the girls.
"Alright, who's first?"

Dr. Dean hummed softly while cleaning Ashley's wound.
She flinched away from the syringe last minute causing a long gash to appear on her arm.
Thankfully, it wasn't deep but Ashley being Ashley thought she was going to die.
It took thirty minutes for Ashley to calm down all thanks to Kira.
At least he got the blood sample he needed.
Dr. Dean finished with a sigh before ordering them to return in a week to get the results.
As soon as they left, he let out a huge sigh of relief.
It was people like Ashley that reminded him that he wasn't getting paid enough.

Kira and Ashley walked to the garden to clear their heads.
The sun was setting and the sky was swirling with colours.
They were both laying on the flower bed watching the sunset.
"Do you think they're there yet? It's been two days" Ashley said breaking the silence causing Kira to groan.
"Shut up, Ashley" Kira replied causing Ashley to grumble.
"I'm thinking out loud. Don't mind me, I just wonder if they're already going at it, you know?"
Kira grimaced as the mental picture of her brother naked crossed her mind, "Please don't think of sex, Ashley. Especially one that involves my brother"
"Why? Are you horny?"
"No, Ashley. I'm disgusted. Now please shut up" Kira grumbled.
After a moment, Ashley spoke, "I'm horny"
Kira groaned before standing up.
She couldn't clear her head with Ashley beside her, that's for sure.
She headed back to the pack house with Ashley babbling behind her.
Heading insides, she was faced with commotion.
Someone laid motionless on the couch and on closer inspection, it turned out to be her brother, Ken.
He looked like shit.
Dr. Dean checked his pulse before instructing some of the pack members to take him to the infirmary.
She immediately rushed to a pack member who was talking animatedly with other members.
"What happened?" Kira asked immediately grabbing his attention.
"The patrol guards found Ken unconscious by the road a few miles away from the border. Both his mate and car are gone"
