Lots Of Potential!
"The author does a fantastic job at world-building. The MC, Ayia, is a little girl and even though the story is written in third-person, it is somewhat limited to what an eight-year-old girl would know and experience. The plot is wonderfully written and I forgot I was reading sometimes. There is an air of suspense throughout the story that really vamps up in Chapter 6. Even though this story is only at eight chapters, I can tell there is so much potential here. Great job, author! Keep up the good work!"
Love this new favourite
"Okay this one is awesome. I love the main character such an adorable ball of energy, curiousity and mischief. I am curious to see how she will deal with the pain and the loss and the possible enslavement/ recruitment of that Queen. It's very well written. Detailed and descriptive I love it. It's easy to immerse one self into the story. Please continue like you have it's a wonderful story. I would love to read more of it. "

Wonderful prelude
"The attention to all the minute details and world-building tell me this is a work of love. Wonderfully written prelude, that sets the tone just right for the reader to be eager to dive into the rest of the series and to know all there is to know, which has been masterfully kept from them. The theme of a fantasy world at war/conflict is far from new, but the author was able to build a solid enough world - with traditions, beliefs, social norms, different creatures/species - to engage just the right amount, before we even dream of being thrown into action. The calm before the storm is beautiful. It carries the promise of being a delicious work of fantasy, and I can't wait to keep on reading. "
