Chapter 1
This has been my life for the last five years. My husband and Alpha working late and leaving early.
My son and I rarely gets to meet him.
Although I am used to this,I can't help but get disappointed because left after making love to me.
I think we should take my mom's advice and see a marriage counselor because we are falling apart slowly.
I sometimes think the only reason he is with me is because of our son,Tyral and me being the Luna.
Although he can replace me by marking another female unmated wolf.
My husband,Rhys,is the alpha of the strongest pack in the world,the shadow moon pack. We are unbeatable, never has been and never will be.
We have the biggest land territory and no one dares to trespass.
We have no mercy on rogues, those cunning little fox.
One almost killed my sister but was saved by husband.
That was when we both knew we were mates.
I was 16 and he was 17 by then. Our parents came together and we got married,Rhys became the alpha and I the Luna.
A year later I fell pregnant with my son, everything was perfect until five years ago when things started to fall apart.
I sigh and got out of bed.
Today is a busy day, my sister is getting married to the beta and my husband's best friend.
My sister didn't get the opportunity to find her mate. And according to traditions,all unmated wolves must be married before they turn 25.
She is 24 and has been seeing beta Cole for a while now. She is even carrying his child that is why everything is such in a rush.
I brush my teeth and changed into a sweat pants and black shirt and headed down for breakfast.
I see my son eating alone as usual,he doesn't have school today.
"Good morning baby"I kiss his hair and ruffle it.
He groans,
"Mom ,I am not a baby anymore,I am 9"he whines.
"Well you'll always be my baby"I say and he glares at me playfully.
Tyral is his father's photo but with my hair, dirty blond.
I love him with my entire heart and I am going to protect him at all cost.
"When are we leaving mom?"he asks
"Right after breakfast. You'll be with your father at the pack house and I'll be with granny and aunt Eliana"I tell him,
'are you at the pack house' I asked Rhys through our bond.
I can mindlink everyone but Rhys and I have a different mindlink because of our bond. It happened after he marked me.
It took a while before he angered. He sounded like he run a marathon.
'no just arrived. Where are you' he asks
'are you okay. Where were you? I am home with Tyral' I answered him.
'Went for a run. Bring him' he cuts off the connection.
I sigh and proceeded to eat breakfast.

This is why I moved out of the pack house. This place is too noisy and packed,there is no personal space.
The pack house is fun but sometimes a girl needs space.
"Dad"he son calls out immediately he sees his father.
Rhys smiles and walks towards us. I'll never get over how sexy he is. He looks hot in the tux,I could jump him right now.
My wolf, Valeria is wiggling her tail happily at the sight of our mate.
She is always horny.
'excuse me! I am not the one who almost knocked him out yesterday' she sassily says.
'yeah,put all the blame on me' I sacarstically reply before cutting her off.
"My boy, how was your night"he picks him up and gives me a peck on the cheek.
"Good,but I miss you dad. I don't get to see you anymore"he says sadly and my heart breaks for him.
"I am sorry baby. Dad has been busy with pack work,but how about this, tomorrow we have the entire day to our selves"he says and my boy nodded happily.
He let's him down and runs to play with the other kids.
"Can we have a conversation after the wedding. I don't us to argue today"I tell him fixing his tie.
My eyes moved to his neck and I found a red dark bruise on his neck.
Oh I must have really been horny yesterday.
My wolf clears her throat in mockery.
"Okay. I'll see you at the ceremony,"he says and I kiss him lightly before walking back out.
Even the kiss is different.
I sigh and drove to my mom's house where my sister is getting ready.
"Thank God you are here Casma. Can you please talk some sense into your sister,she needs to put on his necklace"mom says immediately I entered the house.
"And why is that mother?"I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"She says she can't take off the necklace she has on right now. It is special to her"mom sighs
"Take me to her please"I say and mom leads the way to her bedroom.
Once the door opens,I see my sister sitting on the bed grasping on the necklace on her neck.
She looks amazing in her wedding gown. I am proud to say I did a great job in making it.
A beautiful Lacy gown. It is my biggest work yet.
"Eliana"I walk to her and take her hands into mine.
"I am not taking it off"she hisses.
"I am not saying do that. Infact you can still wear it and add Cole's necklace. I want you to be happy for you and your baby"I tell her and looks at me in the eyes.
Something flashes within them, something like regret but it immediately disappears the same way it came.
"Okay for you I'll do it"she says and stand up so I can straighten her gown.
Mom helped me dress and we made our way to the ceremonial ground.
