Chapter 1: Abducted in Broad Daylight.
On a bright cloudless sunny day in the picturesque town of Butler, a little girl named Jessica Josslyn Dixon sat on the top front porch step of her house in a shaded, gated, tree-lined neighborhood. Jessica, a 7-year-old with 5'11 frame, shoulder-length wavy blonde hair, and mesmerizing azure-blue eyes, sat calmly with her pink Disney Princess Backpack and lunchbox beside her. She lived in that house with her older brother Robert Christopher Dixon, a 17-year-old young man with short light brown hair and light hazel eyes, their 45-year-old mother Helen Dixon with short light blonde hair and light blue eyes, and their 48-year-old father Anthony Dixon, a man with brown hair and light brown eyes.
Jessica eagerly waited for her big brother Robert to join her on the front porch before they headed off to school. The peaceful morning took a sinister turn as a black sedan, driven by a man in his late 20s named Dean Andrew Boggs, cruised up and down the street. Dean, towering at 6'9 with dark brown hair and deep green eyes, had a criminal past involving the abduction and assault of young girls. Intent on repeating his heinous crimes, Dean spotted Jessica sitting alone on the porch and made a disturbing decision to abduct her. With determination in his eyes, he maneuvered his black sedan onto the sidewalk in front of the Dixon house and rolled down the passenger side window, fixating his gaze on the unsuspecting Jessica.
Dean Boggs beckoned, 'Hey, little girl, come here. I want to have a chat with you,' his eyes fixed on Jessica.
Jessica felt nervous; her parents' warnings about avoiding strangers echoed in her mind. Rising from the top front porch step, she tentatively made her way toward Dean Boggs' car, her gaze fixed on him.
Dean gazed admiringly at her and spoke softly, "You are truly beautiful. How about a trip to the Toys 'r' Us store, where you can choose any toy your heart desires?"
Jessica exclaimed 'All right!' as she eagerly entered the passenger side of the car, unable to resist the allure of choosing a toy just for herself.
As she closed the passenger side door with a gentle click, Dean Boggs began to drive away from the house.
