Ryder was so happy she agreed to marry him as they spent the entire day at the planetarium, as he pulled into the garage Olivia smiled. “What?” Ryder asked, “I just love this ring sir its beautiful” Olivia said. “Lily picked it out” Ryder said, “really well she does have expensive taste” Olivia said. “You think it was expensive?” Ryder asked, “knowing you yes sir absolutely but I am not going to worry about it. The next morning was Monday and Ryder’s alarm was going off at 6 am as usual and Olivia groaned. Ryder gave her a kiss, “are you taking my offer and coming to work to be my assistant” Ryder asked. “I have things to do here today sir, so as much as I would love for you to fuck me all day I think you should actually do some work” Olivia said. “Fine, but I expect that story to be done soon” Ryder said. “I am working on it sir” Olivia said, “good, I will come see you before I go” Ryder said going to the gym. Olivia smiled she loved him so much as she glanced at her engagement ring, she took a picture of it with her phone and sent it to her mom and to Lily, with a text.

Olivia stopped texting when her fiancée came back into the room, he was shirtless and sweating. “You are literally the sexiest man in the world master and I want you to fuck me please sir” Olivia said. Olivia walked into the kitchen and Mrs. Jenkins handed her a coffee, “thanks” Olivia said as she sat on the couch and noticed Morgan. “You okay?” Morgan asked, “yeah he seemed angry this morning and I am still trying to figure out why” Olivia said to her, “I am not sure why he would be angry, he is marrying you and moving into a massive house. I am sure it is not towards you though” Morgan said. “He didn’t even kiss me before he left, he wouldn’t let him touch me either. I am worried” Olivia said. “Girl that man has a lot of issues and Monday is not his favorite day of the week, I am obviously not sure on this but his mood most likely has to do with work” Morgan said. “I hope you are right” Olivia said as she finished her coffee and grabbed her laptop, Mrs. Jenkins gave her a smoothie, “thank you Rose, and Morgan I am going down a floor” Olivia said. “Okay” Morgan said as she followed her not wanting to let her out of sight, she didn’t want to blow her last chance with Ryder.
Olivia wrote managing to get 4 chapters done before deciding she was hungry and she and Morgan went up for lunch. Ryder was not having a good day at work everything seemed to be going wrong today. “Fuck!” he swore as he flung a pen across the room, “everything okay sir?” Melanie asked as she walked in at the wrong moment with his lunch. “Its fine Melanie, when you get a chance have James come see me please” Ryder said, “yes sir right away” Melanie replied placing his food down and walking out of the room. A few minutes later James was in front of him, “I am aware of the glitch and it is being dealt with sir” James said, “glitch, James it doesn’t even turn on I am not sure that is a glitch, you told me the MRI was ready” Ryder said. “It is sir I assure you this is just 1 out of the 10 we have sir. I have techs on it and it will be dealt with” James said. “I hope so the email I received was not a happy one and I am not about to give them back 10 million dollars” Ryder said. “I assure you we are handling it sir” James said, “good keep me updated” Ryder said, “yes sir” James said as he left his office. Ryder rubbed his temples he was getting a headache, just then Parker was in front of him. “We need to leave sir now” he said with fear. Ryder didn’t hesitate as he followed Parker, he didn’t know who the threat was but he also didn’t want to know. “Who is it?” Ryder asked, “not sure sir, he has a gun and is looking for you so I feel getting you out is the safest” Parker said, “where is Evan?” Ryder asked, “he is making sure everyone else is safe sir” Parker said as they were in the garage using the service elevator in the back of the building.
Once they were in the McLaren Ryder was driving and he pulled out so fast and drove them both home. “I didn’t even eat my lunch” Ryder said, “I texted Mrs. Jenkins she made you something, and Olivia is on the 29th floor with Morgan” Parker said, “Perfect she can stay there for now, I still have work to do and she will be distracting” Ryder said as Parker followed him up. Mrs. Jenkins handed him food and he took it into his office and sighed. Ryder answered more emails and actually did some paperwork, he really did miss Olivia. He knew by the way he left her this morning she was probably thinking he was mad at her. It was 4 pm and he heard the elevator ping, “Parker aren’t you supposed to be with Ryder?” Morgan asked, “um I am” Parker said, “he is here? how long has he been here?” Olivia asked annoyed, “Since 1 pm I believe, we had a situation at work, but its fine” Parker said. Olivia looked mad and Parker tried to diffuse the situation, “he still had work to do Olivia” Parker said. “He was here since 1 pm and didn’t come and see me” Olivia said hurt and she broke down. Ryder felt pained as he heard her and he came out of his office. “Kitten look at me” Ryder said, “why?” Olivia asked crying, “I am sorry kitten, I needed to finish working and I knew seeing you I would get distracted. Please don’t be upset with me” Ryder said. “I feel like you are upset with me, all day I worried sir, the way you left this morning. I just can’t figure out what I did wrong” Olivia said as she put her head down.
Ryder pulled her in for a hug and forced her to look at him, “you didn’t do anything wrong kitten. My anger this morning had nothing to do with you it was work related, I am sorry I left like that. You are amazing and I promise I am not upset with you, I love you kitten” Ryder said. “Okay I believe you but why did you not tell me you were here sir?” Olivia asked. “Like I said I needed to work, and you my beautiful kitten are a distraction. I realized today how behind I am on actual work because of last week” Ryder said. “I see so having me as your what did you call it a sexual assistant would not be a good idea then sir?” Olivia said. “As much as I would love it no I don’t think anything would get done. We are just going to have to deal with the separation for now” Ryder said. “I actually did get a lot of writing done today sir, I almost have a full novel” Olivia said. “That is awesome, I can’t wait to read it, who is on tonight Parker?” Ryder asked. “I am not sure, with this threat out there it might be 2 of us sir” Parker said. “Perfect, kitten are you okay with that?” Ryder asked her. Olivia swallowed a golf ball in her throat when he said that knowing what he wanted, “yes master” she said. Mrs. Jenkins came up with dinner having started it downstairs as she put it into the oven.
Ryder heard the elevator and Evan came up with Blake, “Parker, Morgan go get some rest” Evan said, “yes sir” Morgan said but Parker hesitated he wanted to know what happened at work. “His name was Travis and he was just looking for money. He said he knew Dylan and that you gave him money to help with his debt, this guy was hoping you would help him” Evan said. “I don’t just help junkies on the street, I obviously need to talk to Dylan about keeping his damn mouth shut” Ryder said. “Is he dealt with?” Parker asked, “yes he was arrested, but I am not sure how long he will stay there. Elijah said it is not the first time he has been busted he is off the rails apparently” Evan said. “You going to stay tonight sir?” Parker asked, “yes go get some rest” Evan said, “alright, I might go see Lily sir if that is okay with you?” Parker said directing this question to Ryder. “Go for it” Ryder said, “tell her I said hi!” Olivia said, “I will” Parker said as he left, and Olivia felt sick as Evan was going to be here with them tonight. Out of all Ryder’s security he made her the most nervous. “Sir, I have that info on Stryker and it is a legit company, I am surprised he is selling honestly. It would actually work really well with your company and it could make you a shit ton more money” Blake said. “Really? why is he selling then?” Ryder asked, “he is old, and doesn’t have anyone he trusts to take over. He never had kids and he said something about not trusting his employee’s to run it successfully. I believe if he was to sell it to you it would be just the company and no staff” Blake said. “I am not worried about the staff I think Green tech would actually do well with running the robotics part, how much is he selling it for?” Ryder asked. “He wants 20 million” Blake said, “is it worth that?” Ryder asked, “I mean yes and no. It will do well but I would say try and see if he will take 15 instead I am not sure the current projects he has are worth 20 million” Blake said. “Make it happen Blake I trust you, and if he will settle for 15 I will buy it if not well we might have to renegotiate something” Ryder said. “Yes sir” Blake said as he left and went back downstairs.
Ryder looked to Evan, “just you tonight?” he asked, “I don’t think you need more, the threat was dealt with” Evan said. “Alright, well I will need your help tonight, I am training and in order for her to get over her fear she needs to be comfortable in front of others” Ryder said. “Oh and this involves me how?” Evan said, “you get a little surprise from her mouth” Ryder said. “I am assuming I won’t have a choice?” Evan asked, “of course you have a choice, but you make her the most nervous and I can tell by the look on her face she is mortified right now. I guarantee you it will be worth it but I can’t force you” Ryder said. “If it won’t affect my job I will do what you need me too” Evan said. “It won’t, and the fun starts after dinner” Ryder said giving Olivia a look and she could have died right there.
