I am very grateful for your comments.
If someone leaves comments in English, it may take me a while to respond, as I can’tuseatranslatorallthetime.

Wanted Mate of the Alpha
Serenity lost her mother a few months ago, before her father decided to move to another city, took her with him, and turned into a beating drunkard. She is already planning to escape when her life, soaked in darkness, takes an unexpected light-flooded turn.
POV: Serenity
My mother died of breast cancer a few months ago, after which my life changed forever.
My father packed our things shortly after and we moved to another city.
I had to leave my job, my friends and my home behind.
But thatwasn’tall.
He used to bethesweetest person ever. He always looked after me and called me his little princess. Hewas always selfless and loving towards me and mine.Nomatter how angryhewas, henever shouted at us.
But my dad changed 180degrees.
He started drinking, was now drunk every day and wasontheverge of losing his job. Atthesametime, heyelledatme constantly and became violent towards me.
He hit me every day fornoreason at all, yethealways knew how to hit me without it being obvious to others.
We hardly had anything to eat.
I had found a job as awaitressin arestauranthere, but therewasn’t enough money to go around.
I had to hand over everything I earned to my father.
Instead of using it to buy us something to eat, heonly bought alcohol.
I went to school duringtheday and then I worked intherestaurant every day except Mondays, and even school time was torture for me.
Afterall, we wereonsummervacation, so I only had to worry about work atthemoment.
Iwasn’t looking forwardtothenew school year, which was due to start tomorrow, because my classmates were either avoiding me or mocking me.
Theclothes I was wearing were worn out, sometimes broken or too big.
My father had sold all my clothes, which werebrand-nameclothes, to finance his alcohol addiction.
Atleast I had been able to keep my tips as I had never told him about it.
I saved almost everything so that I could finally leave here, atleast I only spent a little moneyonbread and a packet of sausages every now and then.
However, I only bought myself something to eat when I was about to pass out from hunger. My fear of being caught by my father inthesupermarket was simply too great.
In two months, I will finally be of age, which I can hardly wait for.
I had already booked a ticket to Juan, which is a big city very far away from here, from my father.
I hid my tip andtheticket between my tampons as I knew my father would never look there.
Just like now, I put my tip of €22.50 inside.
Afterwards, I freshened up a bit and putonmy pyjamas, inevitably looking at myself inthemirroroppositeme.
Thesight of myselfnolongerfrightenedme, even if itdidn’t make me happy.
My body was almost all skin and bones.
My cheeks were sunken, with dark circles adorning my eyes.
Atleast I still had myhoney-coloredeyes and my straight dark brown hair that reached down to my shoulders, which I had inherited from my mother.
However, my skin was also adorned with hematomas in various stages of healing. Some were fresh from yesterday, some were a few days old and others had almost faded.
Yesterdayhehad beaten me up so badly that I had been in pain all day. Every single movement hurt me immensely.
I constantly asked myself what I had done to deserve this.
Yes, I had sympathy for my father because Ihadn’t got over my mother′s death yet either, butIdidn’t drink or get violent.
Sighing, I lay down inbed, feeling every single movement.
Hissinginpain, I pulledthecovers over me and closed my eyes.
