Summary

Two years after the first Defender is found, everything started to calm down again. Zack has always been labeled a player, one of the four legendary hot guys on and off the basketball courts. That is until he meets a certain woman that changes everything for him. Lyra is completely different from any other woman Zack’s ever met. She’s always lived her life in the woods in a trailer with her parents, homeschooled while her father works in a factory and her mother sells tarot card readings for cash. All she’s ever wanted was to pursue music, something her parents never wanted for her. Lyra is quiet and because of her rocky past, she doesn’t trust easily. She’s always believed she was just a human who’s never heard of the supernatural world until she’s thrown into the middle of it, and finds she has so much more in common with the supernatural than she’s ever expected. Isobel has always been one of those girls that were hard to like. Holding her own secret deep inside her, she’s tried her hardest to hold onto the boy that feels comfortable to her, scared of the ever-growing destiny that’s slowly showing her she has to make a choice, once and for all. A dark evil from another dimension seeks revenge in the worst way possible; the group of friends finds themselves thrown in the middle of a prophecy in ways they’d never expected.
