Prologue - Becoming Death
In a time when the world was still young and the stars whispered secrets to those who listened, there lived a mortal named Elias. The figure revealed itself to be the ancient deity of Death, who had been observing Elias’s life with great interest. The deity saw the purity of his heart and the depth of his sorrow, and offered him a choice: to continue his mortal existence or to take on a mantle of great responsibility and become the Guardian of Death.
Elias, weary of his unfulfilled life, chose the latter. The transformation was both a blessing and a curse. To mark his new identity, he took on the name Javaraya, a symbol of his rebirth.

He started to lose himself in the darkness, believing that he could never be loved, that his heart was destined to remain in eternal solitude.
Javaraya distanced himself from the other guardians, retreating further into his own shadowed realm. He watched from afar as they formed bonds and found solace in each other’s company, while he remained alone, a silent sentinel of death. His once vibrant spirit became shrouded in melancholy, and he wandered the realms, performing his duties with a heavy heart.
Despite his isolation, Javaraya continued to fulfill his role with unwavering dedication. He became a figure of legend, a guardian whose presence was both feared and revered. Yet, deep within, he yearned for the warmth of love, a connection that seemed forever out of reach.
