"OMG this book was WILD. Korin and Leanna’s love story had me in my feelings from the start I was obsessed with them together. And then… boom. Leanna goes and cheats with Gaur?! And the fact that he might actually be her father?? I was literally screaming, like WHAT did I just read. Totally insane but in the best way. And don’t even get me started on Mikkel. He can go straight to the depths of hell lmfao absolutely unhinged and I hated every second of him (in the best villain way). I loved every messy, dramatic second of it. The betrayals, the passion, the twists I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I really hope there’s more coming, because I need to see what happens after all that chaos. I’m not done with Korin and Leanna yet! "

Only a few chapters in…
"…but I’ve been enjoying what I’ve read so far. I’m somewhere around chapters 6/7 and have theories about the dream within a dream type thing, wondering if what I’m reading is what’s on the tin, or if enchantment is obscuring reality and ppl aren’t who they are presenting as they are. I’m either waaaay overthinking this or…??? Anyway, the other thing I’ve noticed is that there seems a whole commonality of themes in ‘fae’ genre books: Seelies vs. Unseelies, Seasonal Courts who have internal politics tenuous allyships & enemies. Stealing children without knowing why for one of the courts - usually to pay off a debt between that court & the other, is a thing. Humans are kinda hated, along with half humans. This book stays within that lore but also has a story beyond that. And all the filth, you dirty animals 😹😹😹"
