"This book dives into the complexities of youthful mistakes and the lasting consequences they can have. The story follows a young woman who, driven by impulse, makes a regretful decision the night before her sister's wedding and the emotional fallout that follows. Years later, Lena, is grappling with the repercussions of that fateful night. I thought the writer did a wonderful job of exploring her journey from being driven by physical needs to seeking something deeper and more meaningful. The physical chemistry between her and Cole, was written really well, and was full speed throughout the book (For y’all out there who love smut, this is deliciously smutty.) I don’t want to spoil the plot, but I will say, it was fun being inside Lena’s head, it was like watching a car-crash in slow motion but you can’t look away, she’s crazy at times, frustrating at others but like everyone else she’s looking for that one thing that we all want – a connection, something that’s ours and the book ends on that note, which I thought was fitting and nicely done. (I would like a glimpse into her future, an epilogue maybe, hint, hint, lol) To sum it up it’s a story about mistakes, forgiveness, and finding something real, all while keeping you invested and sometimes giggling at Lena’s craziness. I will be checking out more of this authors work. Thank you for sharing your work!"
