Mathew

" I can't believe you!... you know what we're through!." She said running out of the bowling alley.

"Emm ... argghhh waitt!"

" You can't always break things off when you're upset that doesn't make any logical sense!!" He yelled after her

"No! Do you know what doesn't make sense? Huh?... expecting MY BOYFRIEND to support me but noooooo  he just looks at me like I'm the stupidest person ever!!"

Mathew brushed his wet hair off his face out of frustration"Em can we take this inside, please... it's pouring out here."

" I. I don't want to see your face right now, I want to go home."

As she walked halfway through the road... Bannnnggg!!!..

Mathew woke up he tried to move but was unable to, gasping for air, sweaty and trembling.

"I'm okay... I ..am ...I'm okay."He told himself over and over again trying to calm his racing heart.

Two or three minutes had passed but they felt like hours the spell finally broke and he could move his limbs.

Feeling weak and drained Mathew mustered all his strength to get up and go into his bathroom, stumbling on his way there he arrived at his sink and splashed water on his face and breathed out a heavy sigh.

Mathew stood before his mirror staring at his reflection.

His blue eyes are covered with dark circles, his tanned skin looks paler than a vampire, and his dusty blond hair is scattered and wet from sweat.

He splashed water on his face once more and got ready to finally attend Classes.

As he walked down his long white corridor that had paintings and picture frames of his family, he stopped by a particular frame of him and his dad playing football.

They were close once upon a time but now they can't stand each other for one second, all because his father wants him to take over the company but Mathew says otherwise, he was so fixated on the frame that he didn't notice his mother's presence.

"You and your father were so happy here," said Clara.

"Mmm" Mathew replied

He turned in her direction and noticed the strands of grey hair forming on her black hair, her petit stature made him look like a giant...well he was 6 feet tall. Her eyes were emerald green but could turn darker whenever she was upset, which was rare. She has a heart-shaped face following her olive skin if Disney wanted someone to act as Snow White he'd consider letting his mom audition.

She looked at her son and was devastated by his appearance

"Did it happen again ?"

Mathew nodes his head. He never liked talking about his night terrors to his mom she would always get sad and he didn't like the worried look she'd give him, like the one she's giving right now.

"Did you call Susan?" Carla asked

The mention of that name reminded him of why his in this position in the first place.

She had advised him to physically attend his classes he didn't get why he had to when he could continue online, apparently she says it'll help him take his mind off things and needs a change of scenery.

"No Mom not yet, was going to be on my way to class. speaking of classes I'm gonna be late for the first period..later Mom."Mathew kisses his mother's cheeks and zooms off before she can ask any more questions.

" Love you!!! Don't forget today is Charles's tournament!!" she yelled.
