Beyond The Veil Of Shadows

These are the biggest changes I made to 'Under The Crescent Veil' while editing the story. [If you read the story after the 11th of august 2024 then these changes are not for you, you already read the edited version]

-The mission from the first chapter is more explained and more detailed

-Nyx did make a friend in her corps named Lewis and by saving him during the mission she was captured

-Before Nyx is brought to Silas, she has been thoroughly tortured, where I hint at a whip lashing by the other Alpha she meets in the beginning

-Part of her training of the corps, her and a few others were highly trained for scenarios where they are being captured by the enemy and what they have to do to get as much intel as how to escape. Nyx was one of the last few that was approved for this training, but because she got it so late her attempts when she is captured fail.

-Nyx will reveal this training to Silas when he asks her for intel after the children were kidnapped.

-Just after Nyx is under the care of Silas, she is recovering from the lashing she got, which was pretty bad, but during she tried another attempt to escape. This attempt ends in a failure as her body is too battered to fight or run even.

-During the school attack, it’s Lewis who holds the detonator of the bomb and Nyx has to shoot her only friend, who she even considered to be a brother

-Nyx has a tattoo of the emblem of HPS on her upperarm
