"You could make it as a writer because you don’t try to sound like a writer. I like your approach to bringing yourself into the story - whether it’s you or an imaginary you doesn’t matter because it sounds and feels right. Good use of dialogue. Dialogue driven stories are so much easier to read and writing dialogue is one of the most important tools for any writer. I noted some grammatical issues and repetitions but nothing a decent editor couldn’t fix. I usually tune out of teen fiction after the first unlikely encounter with a hero nobody will ever meet in real life. You kept me reading. Good start."
