"Shit shit shit!!.."

I let out a scream as I ran through the building. the blood dripping off of me leaving a dotted map on the floor, Making it impossible to avoid the beautiful devil behind me.

'how the fuck did I let it get to this in the first place.'

All i remember is waking up in the middle of an intersection surrounded by tall buildings covered in vines and mold. The only thing on me was the cloths on my back and a small gold coin with a weird masked figure stamped into it, along with a pair of twisted horns that resembles small or broken antlers on the back. although the mask wore a smile the coin gave off a feeling that was everything but happy. I had no phone. no wallet. No idea where the hell i am.

To make things worse I noticed a tattoo on my right hand wrist stating "316:12:34" but it's gone down to "00:02:56" in the time I've been here.

I don't know what it's counting down to but I'd rather not find out. It's been stressing and confusing the hell out of me this whole time.

I still can't wrap my head around the way the ink changes numbers. Or how it even got there in the first place. Who put it on me?

I can't help but look at my right hand, with a heart beat of its own and an old rusted blade stuck straight through it.

Looking across from me at the woman half my size, she was beautiful. But the circumstances snapped me back to the reality.

'Why would she attack me the second she saw me? I don't even know who she is.'

We stood in the middle of the food court in the abandoned building over grown by foliage. Almost as if a rain forest decided to take over the building and rampage through its structure.

Cracking pillars and climbing through shop windows as it created its webs through everything that wasn't solid enough to stop it.

"Why are you here"

'the first words this chick has said after all this and that's all I get?'

"O okay, so she speaks?.. I don't even know where here is." I snapped back

"You shouldn't be here…why are you here…" she whispered

"Your the one who stuck a knife in my hand asshole, maybe you should tell me why you stabbed me in the first five fucken seconds of seeing me."

The only person I've seen since I got here, and she looks disgusted at the sight of me.

"You shouldn't be here" she said again, her voice barely audible

She looked up slowly as her eyes locked with mine, her eyes bloodshot and teeth bared at me like some type of rabid dog.

"Aye check it out, if you got a number you can call to get me the fuck out of here let me know! Because I ain't too happy about it eithe.."

before I could even finish she was standing right in front of me. Holding a small silver blade with a carving of a snowflake on the hilt pressed flat against my stomach as blood started creeping from the corners of my mouth.

"ARGHH!!.."

biting down on my teeth I slammed my right hand into her neck with every ounce of strength i have left as she stumbled back into a table behind her as she tried to catch her footing.

'What is this bitch made of' I thought to myself.

Looking down at the dagger in my stomach and the old rusted knife sticking out of my hand.

'This couldn't have gone any worse'

"Well it was worth a shot right?" I sighed

feeling the cold blade in my stomach draining the little hope I had left in getting out of this alive.

Before I could get lost in my own thoughts I could hear footsteps, almost as if death was looming over me I heard them one at a time. Each step getting closer. Louder. Leaving a cold chill in my chest with each one.

Locking eyes with this woman that couldnt be much older than I am. But so much smaller. She held onto her neck with one hand and small amounts of blood leaked between her fingers as she walked.

Dragging a shining silver axe in her other hand that looked like it carried the weight of the world as it carved its path in the ground on its way to me. The same snowflake engraved into its 3 foot haft.

"Where do you keep getting all this cool shit, I'm assuming there's not a walmart or something I could go to" I cracked what would probably be my last smile before letting out a little laugh.

"For a guy with a lot of jokes, your not very funny."

The woman stared at me dead eyed as I stared back.

"I'm about to get killed by a tiny chick with an attitude problem. if you ask me, that's hilarious. Ironic at the very least considering im huge and covered in tattoos."

I couldn't help but let out another laugh along with a mouthful of blood.

"Get it over with." I sighed

The woman swung the axe over her shoulder, disgust in her eyes as she tightened her grip and firmed her footing.

I closed my eyes just waiting for it to be over.

A high pitched ringing started booming in my ear.

000:00:01….000:00:00
