Chapter 1 of The Skinwalker Remastered.

”Hello?”

”Anybody here?”

”Im here to uh deliver a package from Yamako Village.”As shes about to leave after setting it on the ground outside. She hears a knock creepily on the corner wall. She leaves quickly sensing a essence trailing behind her until she approaches the village full of light. The next day, another package to the same barn This time being more cautious she goes to the barn and attempts to investigate and then she saw it Not anything weird yet in particular but she saw the same packaging torn apart infront of her. Full of blood, and then she realizes what she delivered. A package full of raw meat. But she wonders ”If its all meat that was delivered then why is there..” ”Blood?” She enters the barn once more and explores After walking for a bit she notices a dark underground hallway spiraling down like a castle with torches. She steps onto the flight of stairs and continues her journey. Though when she finally arrives in the basement its pitch black. She sets up her latern that she uses when she does delivery at night, and in the blackest corner of the basement she sees an entire brown figure with long fingers and monkey but skinny like feet.”H-Hello.. Please Help me.” Then suddenly the girl runs to the flight of stairs each torch disappearing of flame behind her. As she hears screams of others. “Help! Its horrifying!” ”My dog!” ”Hello!! Please help me” And then for a moment. Shes familiar with that last voice cue ”Isnt that what that thing said..?” ”Whatever i need to leave NOW!” It seems it took forever but she finally reaches up to the barn. She leaves as she runs to the village she returns breathing heavily. ”Oh my god! You look horrible whats wrong?” ”Some creepy branch monster lurks in the barn I went to deliever my package to!” ”Okay well lets get you fixed up” “Okay…”

Heika van Walderveen: I had to get used to the style. It’s a lot of switching and getting back into the story of the characters. Also the different timelines were a bit confusing in the beginning. But once you’re used to it, it’s really quite original. The plot is good, but it’s only book 1 (out of 3), but so far so good...
