Anthony Calderon, a successful novelist and writer remembers the woman he loved in high school. In 1998, he was dateless as prom was approaching. However, his life changes forever when he falls in love with Catherine Ontiveros, the sister of his bully, Brian Ontiveros. Brian is not only the jock in school, but he is also known for his prejudice and bigotry. When Anthony and Catherine fall in love, this relationship will be dangerous. Anthony's brother, Paul, and his friends try to protect him, while Catherine's friends also try to conceal her relationship. But Brian's hatred may cause severe problems that could lead to everlasting consequences.
