Loving The Envy II

3 Years Later:

Armani's POV-

"Emani!!" I yell up the stairs wait for my daughter to come down for scht

"Daddy, don't yell at me." Emani says walking down the stairs.

She has on her school uniform and her bookbag on her back.

"It's 6:15 we gotta get you to school. It's the first day Mani." I say to her while looking at my phone quickly.

"I know Daddy." She says with a smile and skips over to me.

"Well are you excited?" I ask her with a laugh.

"No! Lyssa isn't in my class." She says with a pout.

"Her class is next door it'll be fine." I say to her.

"Daddy can you do my edges?" She asks and hands me a little brush and a container of edge control.

"Yeah but let's be fast." I say to her.

She sits on the floor and I start attempting to do her edges. Her hair is already braided so that's fine. She actually showed me a video of how to do edges.

"Daddy when is mommy coming?" She asks me and turns slightly to face me.

"She's gonna meet us at the school. Reina is going to be there too." I say with a smile and put the hair stuff on the table after I’m done.

"Why?" She says with a frown on her face.

"Because she's daddy's girlfriend." I say with a laugh.

Yeahh its obvious that Emani doesn't like Reina and she's told me exactly way. Emani looks exactly like Envy now with the exception of eye color and skin tone. Her personality is just like mine. Blunt, sorta rude, and mean occasionally.

"Daddy her boobs are too big and she where's stinky perfume." She says with her face all scrunched up.

"Don't say boobs." I say and stand up

She stands up too and starts to walk towards my front door. I already know she's pouting.

We get into my car and on the way there I think about life.

Envy and I share custody obviously. I get Emani Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday morning. Envy has her Monday afternoons and nights, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays which is also the days that she has Alyssa. Her and Anex have a similar schedule to ours. No courts needed.

Envy and I talk occasionally if it's about Emani but that's really it. I have noticed a couple things though, whenever the girls are with or near Envy they are completely angels. They are nice, kind, polite and friendly. When they aren't they act just like me and Anex. I am also no longer the leader of the mafia. Actually Alec took over both and now it's more like a gang. Of course I still make money from it though.

"Daddy has mommy met Reina?" Emani asks me.

"No, why?" I ask her and turn down the street to Reina's home.

"I don't think she will like her." She says to me.

"Why not?" I ask her.

I know why

"She curses a lot." She says.

She does but so do I and Envy hates it.

"That's all?" I ask her.

"Mommy's prettier and smells better." She says to me.

I don't disagree.

"Don't say that when Reina gets in." I say and park in front of Reina's house.

"Mommy says people with integrity speak their mind." She says with a giggle

"And what does the word integrity mean?" I ask her with a chuckle.

"I don't know but I have it." She says still giggling making me shake my head in amusement.

I make a phone call to Reina to let her know that she should come out. Not even 5 minutes later she comes out in a crop top and some jeans.

She's a beautiful woman.

"Hi baby." She says and gets into the car. Her perfume permeates the car and I look at Emani through the front mirror and she has her nose all scrunched up and then she puts down her window.

I have to try my hardest not to laugh at that.

"Emani are you ready for school?" Reina asks her in a polite tone.

I finally drive off

"I'm ready to get out of the car." Emani says to her.

This girl is too bold to be 5.

"Are you cold? You're wasting your dad's AC with that window being down." Reina says to her

"Daddy's rich. It's okay." Emani says with a shrug.

Reina looks over at me and I just shrug. No one says anything else until we get to the school.

"Daddy!!" Emani says excitedly looking at all the kids and parents arriving at the school.

I open my car door to get Emani out. I was gonna tell Reina to stay in the car but she got out before I can say anything. I go to the backseat door and open it so Emani can get out.

As soon as I unbuckle her seatbelt she gets out of the car and rushes away from me.

"Emani!!" I yell after her but she stops where she can cross the street. Looks both ways and then runs up to someone.

I quickly get her things and rush across the street. Emani has a frown on her face and she's actually holding Envy's hand.

Makes sense why she ran away. She seen her mother. Who obviously looks amazing.

*Envy's outfit*

"Why is she pouting?" I ask Envy trying not to look at her.

"Why'd you let her cross the street without holding your hand?" She asks me.

"She ran away before I could stop her." I say to Envy.

"Then that's why she's pouting Armani." Envy says with a chuckle.

"Babe!!" I hear from behind me.

Oh god.

"Baby who's this?" Reina asks me looking at Envy.

"My mommy." Emani says proudly now smiling showing her missing bottom tooth.

She lost it last week and told me that if the tooth fairy didn't come it was because she was scared of me and she'd be mad at me. She received a 5 dollar bill under her pillow that night.

"Let's go in. I'm ready to meet Mr. Addison." Envy says to all of us.

"I thought her teacher was the old lady we met at the open house. Mrs. Fern." I say confused.

"Mrs. Fern got sick and she decided to retire." Envy says as we walk into the school.

She probably knows that because she also went with Anex to take Alyssa to class. I look around and the school is very nice. It's a private school. Expensive but worth it. We all walk down the hall until we get to the correct classroom. I try my best to not look at Envy's ass.

Unsuccessful

We get in and there are a bunch of kids running around and parents.

"Which one is her teacher?" I ask looking around.

"I think it's him." Envy says and points to some guy.

Here we fucking go.

Envy's type, tall, long hair, nice smile.

Envy then walks up to the guy and introduces himself. He's smiling wide at her and I already hate him.

They shake hands and they walk over to us.

"Hi, I'm Mr. Addison." The guy says with a smilr

"I'm Emani." Emani says looking up at him with a smile.

"Armani." I say sternly and shake his hand. Slightly squeezing it.

"I-" Reina starts

"Irrelevant, anyways Mr. Addison how long have you been teaching?" Envy asks him with a smile.

"5 years but this is my first year at this particular school." He says and then he looks at his watch.

"Well I have to gather all the students. Emani do you wanna have a seat now?" He asks her and I look at Emani and her eyes widen and her lips start quivering. She's about to cry.

The teacher gives Envy a look and then he walks away

"Don't cry mama." Envy says and gets on her knees and hugs Emani.

"I-I scared." Emani says looking sad.

"There's no reason to be scared. You're gonna make so many friends, and have so much fun and guess what Alyssa's teacher told me." Envy says to Emani while wiping her tears.

"What?" She says while sniffling.

"You two are gonna have lunch together and recess. And guess what you're gonna have for lunch." Envy says to her with a smile.

"What?" Emani says and wipes her tears on her own this time.

"Pizza." Envy says with a smile and Emani looks up and starts smiling a little.

It's always food with her

"Mani you gotta be tough like daddy." I say to her with a smile.

"Daddy you cried when I fell off my bike and scraped my knee." Emani says with a giggle.

I can't believe she sold me out like that. Also in my defense she fell off her bike and into my shrubs around my house. I thought she was hurt.

"You okay? You ready to be a big girl and sit down." Envy asks her and Emani nods.

"Okay mommy is gonna pick you up after school." Envy says and she stands up.

"Okay." Emani says and then she walks over to me and gives me a hug.

"Be good okay." I say and bend down kissing her head.

"I'm always good daddy." She says with a giggle

She's not

She then lets me go and then looks at Reina.

"Am I getting a hug too." Reina asks with a smile sounding hopeful.

"No. Love you mommy, love you daddy." Emani says and then she skips away from all of us.

Rude just like I am.

Envy starts snickering in amusement and I just grab Reina's hand trying to comfort her. Envy looks at us in amusement and then takes one last look at Emani with a smile on her face and then finally walks out of the classroom.

"Why aren't you crying?" I ask her as Reina and I follow behind her.

"Lyssa took all the tears. She was crying worse than Emani and she really didn't want Anex and I to leave. She's a lot more sensitive and shy than Mani so it took more out of me to let her go. Mani is gonna be fine. Definitely a troublemaker. Alyssa is probably gonna be scared and shy the whole time until she sees Mani again or makes friends." Envy says while opening the front doors so we can leave out of the school.

She's not wrong. Emani is definitely too smart for Kindergarten and we were told that whenever they tested her for school. They suggested she skip straight to 1st grade because she already knew everything that she would learn in Kindergarten but Envy said Emani has to learn patience and how to interact with other children. Alyssa has skills when it comes to being around others and people her age because she's nicer and a lot more open to making friends regardless of if she's shy at first. Emani has skills when it comes to learning and she's very smart for her age but she doesn't get along with other kids. She doesn't talk to them, she doesn't interact with them. She would rather just be with Alyssa or alone.

"Still surprised you didn't cry." I say with a shrug.

"I don't cry in front of strangers." Envy says and then looks back at Reina.

"Oh I'm not a stranger, I'm Armani's woman and Emani has met me several times. We hang out alone together sometimes." Reina says with a smirk on her face. And Envy turns her whole body around and looks at me. She's pissed

Damn it!! She wasn't supposed to say anything.

"You let my daughter meet and be around this woman without my permission AND you let them be alone together?" Envy asks me with anger in her eyes getting close to my face.

"He's her father. He has rights just as much as you do." Reina says taking up for me.

"You're gonna want to remove her from my field of vision in about 5 seconds." Envy says to me and I know she's serious

Before I would have thought nothing of that statement but Envy does not play about Emani or Alyssa. Also she still trains with Enzo on fighting. She's a little too good at it now. A couple weeks ago she took Emani and Alyssa to Alec's house and this woman that was working for him called Emani a mutt and Envy kicked the lady in the face and broke her nose and knocked her front tooth out. Enzo told me cause he seen the whole thing.

Envy sees that Reina isn't moving so she puts a hand up and starts counting down from 5.

"Just go." I say to Reina cause Envy is already at 3.

"No." Reina says stubbornly and as soon as Envy has all five fingers down she brings her hand that's now in a fist back and before she can punch Reina in the face I grab her and pull her away.

"Look I'm sorry okay." I say and let her wrist go when we're away from Reina.

"I don't wanna hear it. You disrespected me. I'm gonna ask Emani about this woman and if she has anything negative to say you're done." She says to with with an angry expression on her face and walks away from me.

Emani is definitely gonna say she doesn't like Reina and gonna tell Envy exactly why and she's honest and blunt so she's not gonna play any games with her words. I'm fucking screwed.
