Chapter 1
“Come on Valerie,” my best-friend calls me onto the dance floor here we are celebrating my first night bring single after an official divorce I had with my husband.
I smirked at Stella I knew she was waiting for the moment for me to leave Alan and go off to the club again. She does this to pressure me to get out more since I hard ever did so in the last eleven years of my marriage.
My secret was the last time I ever wanted to do is be around a bunch of young teen adult. I knew what it’s like to be around their shoes enjoy the youth while you still can before getting stuck in a rat hole called marriage.
“Stella why don’t you go off and enjoy yourself while I get something for both of us to drink.” I offered myself to leave but she held me down.
“Not a chance girl you have not been having fun all night a certainly not having sodas mixed with an energy drink.” She then paused to sneeze. “I will tell you what we will get a shot and wait for the strippers.”
My eyes widen in disbelief Stella really expects me to really stay longer for the strippers this isn’t my bridal party it’s my single day of being divorced. Though knowing Stella she will not give me a choice.
I let out a sigh. “Fine I will take a shot…and watch the strippers…” Stella leaps for joy because I fell into her trap. Fuck me.
I began bringing the shot the bartender place on the counter. It was very strong it stung it taste was nasty it was very bitter and old also very dry.
“I cannot believe people can actually drink this.” I say.
“You will get use to it.” Stella said. She ended up finishing a few glasses this doesn’t surprise me.
I ended up wanting to leave but the crave to look back upon the stage made me crave my sanity.
And there was not one but three men. All of them moving their bodies to the music I could not help it by sit to a table closer to the dance floor.
There I was originally saying that it was a bad idea but then its not hardly thinking that its me or the alcohol the is running through my system that is making my whole body relaxed.
I kind of like it makes me feel addicted but it is painfully craving for more. Badly wanting one of those many to take—
Stop it! I am way too old for this. While I was trying to get up I couldn’t because I kept on looking my balance a bit I might have felt a little tipsy. My destination was towards the crowd of hungry girls who were screaming at the strippers. All of them swinging their hips to the music trying to act so innocent to the girls in front of them. I never thought of myself wanting to leave now even though I am almost close too closing my eyes
Suddenly I was thrown a T-shirt. My whole face was cover in the white T-shirt the strong smell of the cologne hits my nose. The addiction of aroma was difficult for me to take of the shirt. Once I was able to take it off I decided to look up at the strippers but it was already too difficult to find out whose it belong to especially but unfortunately they have left the stage.
Just my luck I began to go back to where Stella was sitting. She looks like she was having a good time. I am very thankful that she has brought me here to have fun in my single life again. Hopefully not for long.
I began to let myself drink hardly thought that I would make it through I began to let myself laugh. What am I laughing about? I was trying to remember but I couldn’t. I began to walk towards the restroom but the sounds of moaning maybe not think twice before thinking that I should just wait till less and less people are in this place. When I walked back to find Stella she was nowhere. I ended feeling so uncomfortable that I began to try and pack my things.
“Looking for me?” I a strong aroma hits my nose the smell of male cologne. As the mystery man speaks to me sweetly. I recognize the smell the smell of the mystery T-shirt many. Slowly I turned my whole body to finding him there staring straight at me with a sweet smile forming on his face. Yet still wearing the mask.
“No really.” I said. I looked at him from down to stare up at him again. Forming a smirk on my face as I moved my flyaways away from my ear and moved them behind it. “But now I am.”
He chuckled as my responses. “You should try and stay a bit longer you might get to meet new people in the opportunity.”
“No thank you.” I said. “I like what I see right in front of me.” I am such a stupid fool right now speaking to a total stranger right now. “Maybe you should go right back to work maybe your boss wouldn’t like it if they catch you speaking to the customers.”
He then began to come closer but not to still leave me space for myself to not to feel caged up. “Maybe you might get to know me if you stick around or come and visit more frequently little bluejay.”
He then stepped away and walked towards the VIP for employees. I began to take a deep breath as I felt my cheeks burning feeling the heat throughout the my body feeling a sticky and sweat. Who knew that strangers can cause a huge turn on.
