Dear readers,
As I'm sure you would've understood, this is a fantasy romance. It takes place in a completely different world so here's a little about how it works:
- The world is divided into the 'fay land' or Pylaria and the human realm.
- The humans living in the human world are unaware of the existence of the fay but there are human who live on the fay land. They are mostly servants or soldiers that work for the fay.
- The fay have wings, heightened senses, strength, cat eyes with night vision and power of compulsion.
- There are ranks in the fay world. The highest rank is the royals, followed by the nobles, the enforcers or the security and so on.
- Compulsion: It is the power of a fay to force a human to do something. HOWEVER, this is not absolute. It could be delayed or even ignored depending on the will of the human and rank of the fay. A compulsion can be over written by an upper rank, i.e. if a human is compelled to do a task by a noble and if the royal compels him/her not to do it, he/she will follow the command of the royal.
- A fay can also free a human from getting compelled by fay of his and lower ranks.
