"I most like that Selene has come back stronger and even more brilliant and she doesn’t need anyone. I do hope her and Max get back together but that she doesn’t lose her strength and character. I just dislike her step-mom and step-sister. They got over by lies and manipulation so I hope they get busted on that. I can’t wait for his children to meet him. I would recommend this book to all my friends who love a good romance novel."

It was ok.
"I do enjoy tropes like this, but mostly only finished because I paid. Maximus ultimately does nothing to earn his redemption. The timeline of her years away has a few inconsistencies. There are several spots where it feels like a chapter is missing. Also, this would have been better set somewhere outside of the USA. The author clearly has little knowledge of American culture and no knowledge of how our legal system works. It was enjoyable, but not worth paying for or reading again. Lots of potential."
Getting to the point…
"The story isn’t bad but it jumps around a bit and it’s too many POVs so the plot jumps around or it doesn’t match up with the last pov and the chapters are so short sometimes. It’s just taking to long to get to the point where we find out things. "
