Preface & introduction
In a world where technology reigns supreme and nature is but a distant memory, humanity wavers on the brink of losing its essence. Our story unfolds in a dystopian metropolis, where the lines between man and machine blur, and the struggle for survival takes on new, unforeseen dimensions.
This story follows two unexpected heroes: Arden, a seasoned tech expert safeguarding the secrets of a past age in his haven of discarded electronics, and Nico, a savvy orphan trying to survive in a world that has overlooked him. Their paths cross in a junkyard—a treasure trove of forgotten knowledge and untapped potential.
As Nico learns the art of decoding the past from Arden, he uncovers a web of corruption that threatens to unravel the very fabric of their society. Together, they must navigate a landscape of advanced AI, quantum computers, and holographic deceptions to expose the truth and fight for a future where humanity still has a place. This book is an exploration of resilience, the power of knowledge, and the enduring human spirit in the face of overwhelming technological advancement. It challenges us to question the price of progress and the value of our connection to the natural world. Prepare to embark on a journey through a city of endless possibilities and hidden dangers, where the key to salvation might just lie in the discarded remnants of our technological past.

Hi Lelibrarian,
I just finished reading your story Nico & Arden – Coded Lies and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic
I really loved the moment in chapter three when Nico discovers the corrupted data core hidden beneath the scrapheap of obsolete androids The tension as he wipes away the grime to reveal that flickering light would make a gripping opening panel I also loved the sequence in chapter fifteen when Arden’s quantum encoder overloads mid-experiment sending shards of holographic code spiraling through the lab The visual chaos and raw emotion on their faces would translate perfectly to a dynamic double-page spread
I’m a commissioned artist and I’d love to draw your story into a comic or manga No pressure though I just think your work would look awesome in comic form
