Interesting Take on Krypton

"As an old fan of the DC multiverse, I'm always open for a variant of the worlds contained therein. And this is definitely different than what I'm used to seeing with these characters. Jor-El was a scientist, so it's hard to envision him in armor. I thought it was interesting the way the writer made the armor somewhat organic, moving to accommodate his contact with Lara. I thought that was an interesting touch. Jor-El's brother being militant was also a different take on that character. The science council seems different as well, with a vocal woman who almost seems to have powers in that area the way she's described. Their arrogance is accurate in most realities as well, although it's displayed differently here. I guess one of the things that make me pause to do a full review of this short story is that it feels like part one of a longer undertaking. I'm not sure what part Bruce Wayne (and a presumably young version of Bruce, since he is attending his parents' funeral) plays in the story, which seems to focus (beyond the opening sequence) on Krypton. I'm curious what other differences he has in mind for this universe and where the writer intends to go with his story. There were a few minor grammatical errors, but the narrative flowed well otherwise."
