A Little Introduction
Sunday, 6th October, XXXX
Dear diary,
I guess not much people write in a diary, especially people like me, but my mom gave this to me as a gift so I have got to be respectful. Plus, I wanna try this diary thing out.
Maybe, I can later on sell this diary as an autobiography which can fetch me money (I already have enough) and make me famous (which I already am).
Okay, so how does this diary thing work? Do you write this late at night? I guess I have to introduce myself.
I'm Amy Bliss Crystal.
I know my initials are A.B.C so feel free to laugh. Wait! I didn't introduce myself well.
I'm actually PRINCESS Amy Bliss Crystal of the Crystal Royal Family. Are you shocked?
You are already thinking, this is just a girly princess story some bored girl wrote just to call herself an author and win an award.
Okay, ignore all that I said after the princess story.
To be frank, I'm not a really official princess, just a princess for being a princess. Let me explain.
My father, Prince Austin III married my mom, Princess Fiona whiles running a secret successful company that makes and sells gadgets and stuff. He didn't like being a prince and begged my grandfather to make him live his normal life.Taking pity on him, my grandfather, the king, gave all his duties to his younger brother who is my uncle so he will rule instead of my father.
That also means one of my uncle's children will rule instead of one of my father's children, that is my little sister, Marcy, and I.
Still, since the world cannot know about this arrangement just yet, my family still attends ceremonies and stuff and my dad is still known as King Austin. Anyway, I guess I am famously known as...
A TOTALLY LOADED ROYAL!!!
That is, until I'm living my OTHER life.
For example, I'm attending my school Wesley Northern Hills (WNH) as Amy Brown and my guardians are Austin Brown and Fiona Brown. Not even the owner knows we are royalty.
And for some very weird reason, no one has recognized me just yet, not even my BFFs Claire and Hannah.
There is this person who would be very surprised when that person finds out who I am. That person totally hates my guts just because I always beat him in class.
Wait, you thought it was a girl. Well no. I know most of the girls in school don't like me for some reason but this guy really hates me. Like, HATES ME.
No, he DESPISES ME!
My equation of Drake the young model:
DRAKE WINTER x The length of his jealousy + the height of his pride= Despising me for no reason.
Nice equation, right?
Anyway, my mom is in Australia to take care of Marcy as she schools there and my father is here with me in this huge castle as I school in WNH. This diary is a really great present... and so was the other one. Why Drake?! Why?! And why didn't I just try to ran and shut up! Now I'm stuck in bed, eating ice cream and wondering what I'm going to say to my mom. I've cried thrice today because of that.
EARLIER TODAY...
"Thanks for ordering!" The waitress said as I picked up my order of three smoothies. I walked out of the smoothie store and walked past tye fountain in the mall to a bench. Claire and Hannah sat there waiting for me. We had just finished watching a movie and I offered to pay for the movie and the smoothies. I soon reached the bench and sat beside them.
"Amy is using a lot of money today on us, right Hannah?" Claire asked. Hannah sighed and took a smoothie from me.
"I think she's doing this to say thank you. I mean we spend a lot of money on her every time we come to the mall, right Amy?" I gave another smoothie to Claire and nodded my head.
"But..." Hannah interrupted, "Come on! Claire, be grateful!" I looked at both my friends and laughed, saying,
"I don't really care about the money." Hannah and I looked at Claire and put on our sweetest faces. She gushed before looking away.
"Fine, just today." Claire pouted and I sipped my smoothie quietly. Today, I just wanted to make them happy after a stressful week in school and the tests that most of the teachers surprised us with. Finally, I thought of another idea on how to make them happy.
"Hey, I think it's time to go to the hair salon!" I exclaimed. Hannah reached into her Gucci purse and pulled out a mirror to check how her dark hair looked like. Claire continued pouting. She said,
"No more money is being wasted. And I like my long, blonde hair," I rolled my eyes as Hannah grabbed Claire's hand and rushed her towards the fountain, almost spilling both hers and Claire's smoothie.
I walked behind them, carefully holding my smoothie and giggling. My friends were like clowns sometimes but they will always be my best friends. Suddenly, Hannah stopped and let go of Claire's hand. I saw a guy with short dark hair who had two boys beside him. I wondered what was going on and decided to run to them.
"Hey, girls. Hello Amy, what's up?" Drake stood before us with two of his other friends, Nate and Tobias. I moved through Hannah and Claire and stood directly in front of Drake. Of course it was his dark hair, I should have known.
"Hey, boys. Hello Drake, what's up? Now, we are done with the greetings. Let's go." I began to walk forward but he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. He snatched my drink too as people started gathering around. A girl screamed,
"OMG! I recognize that short dark hair! It's Drake Winter!" Instantly, five bodyguards of Drake appeared and kept the crowd back. Nate and Tobias also held Claire and Hannah back as they tried to reach me.
"Drake Winter or whatever season you were named after let go of my friend!" Hannah said. I tried pulling away from him but it was like all my strength was nothing to him. Of course, he's a model... he's supposed to have great body structure.
Claire yelled, "Please leave her! Not today!" I gazed at my friends and the crowd around us. "Can you not start your bullying?!" Hannah screamed. At that moment, Tobias covered her mouth. He's a really great zombie-like minion. I turned back to Drake.
"Look," I started. "We do not have time for this or for you!" Drake gazed at me intensely then lowered his face. In my ears, he whispered,
"You don't have time for me, Miss Brown? What a shame," I was stunned but I quickly recovered and moved back.
"Leave me you brat!" I shouted. The crowd cheered. I really felt nervous because mostly I never talk back to him. Surprisingly, Drake seemed unfazed. He even started laughing. He let go of my hand and teased,
"How were you first in class? Isn't the word brat for children?"
"Aren't you a child?" I found myself asking. The crowd gasped. Drake seemed stunned as well since I defended myself. He also asked,
"I am clearly taller than you so how am I a child, little girl?" I scoffed. "Having the brain of a child makes you one," He scoffed too.
"Having the size of a child makes you one," I frowned at his words.
"Really? Cause to me. I don't know the difference between you and a spoilt, little, BRAT!" In an instant, I found myself drenched in my own smoothie. I stood there shocked, disgusted, humiliated... Ugh!
The audacity of Drake was as horrifying as an adult with deep yellow teeth filled with plagues. He dropped the cup that was once filled with a delicious smoothie. I was just about to give him a peace of my mind when I felt him remove something out of my hair. As soon as I spotted it, I desperately tried to reach for it yet he was taller than me even when I was on my toes.
"Give it back! Please, don't destroy it!" I begged.
So, let me explain why I need the hairband. It's not just a pretty accessory. It was a family treasure... a very special one from my mom's side of the family. My great-grandmother was a creative designer.
She handmade the hairband with materials she found and loved it so much she decided against selling it.
She gave it to her first born daughter, who is my grandmother, who in turn gave it to my mother who finally gave it to me. I'm supposed to pass it to my future first born daughter or Marcy. It was a plastic hairband adorned with actual roses with a big red heart made from an actual ruby in the center.
