What is your opinion?

Phenomenal

"Two days ago I had no idea this book existed, and now I can't imagine my life without having read it. The way the author handles the Andromedan perspective giving us glimpses into their alien psychology, their collective consciousness, their ancient motivations is nothing short of brilliant. It's not a story about good vs. evil; it's about coexistence, misunderstanding, and the terrifying possibility that we might not be the apex species on our own planet. The human characters are equally well-drawn, each reacting to the arrivals in ways that feel authentic and deeply human. I finished it last night and immediately started rereading my favorite chapters. This is the kind of book that changes how you see the world. Absolutely phenomenal."

Obsessed

"Started this yesterday and I’m obsessed with the lore. The way the author describes the Andromeda Galaxy and its inhabitants feels so scientifically grounded. It makes the story feel terrifyingly real."

GREAT RECOMENDATION

"Thanks to Crystal for this recommendation. This book is not your typical science fiction—it stretches boundaries with daring topics that challenge societal norms. Thoughts on the Chapter: Alice’s playful ecstasy scenes are both erotic and thought-provoking. The “squirrel taming” line shows her quirky personality. The philosophical banter about interference in human history is fascinating. The recording device scene felt ahead of its time, almost like predicting VR."

Introduce To Our Community

"This book was introduced to our book club community by Crystal, and it has been one of the most intriguing sci-fi reads I’ve come across. The blend of futuristic science, erotic undertones, and philosophical musings is bold and refreshing. Thoughts on the Chapter: Alice’s complexity as a character really shines through, her mixture of sensuality and intellect makes her unforgettable. The time-travel and Polynesian references give the chapter a sense of vast scope. The tension between cultural observation and interference raises ethical questions. The dialogue feels like a balance between playfulness and deep philosophical debate."

A Thought-Provoking Sci-Fi Journey

"As someone who doesn’t typically read science fiction—or erotica—I went into this story with some hesitation. But I was surprised by how imaginative and detailed the worldbuilding is. The author clearly put a lot of time and thought into the crew dynamics, ship design, and intergalactic setting. There’s a ton of creativity here, and you can tell the story was written with passion. Readers can expect a slow-burn plot that gradually builds up the tension between characters, with philosophical reflections on civilization, ethics, and relationships. The blend of sci-fi and erotica creates a unique space for storytelling. The characters, especially, are written with care and curiosity, which adds depth to the story beyond just the surface themes. Each one incredibly unique. A friendly heads-up: this story contains mature content and bold themes, so I’d recommend going in with an open mind. If you enjoy genre-bending narratives that explore what it means to be human—even in the most alien of places—this may be a great fit for you."

Love it

"I came for the sci-fi mystery, but I stayed for the characters. Wader writes people you genuinely care about, and their reactions to the Arrivals feel honest and raw. The philosophical questions raised here will stick with you long after the final page. A stunning read."
