Chapter 1

Chapter 1: My Birth

Around four millennia ago, in a village surrounded by rolling hills and shimmering streams, my twin sister Silvia and I were born during a rare celestial event. I came into the world with a heart that was only half-formed and an amulet that would curse my life, but my spirit was full of warmth and kindness. Silvia, on the other hand, was born with god-like powers that shone with a radiant, divine aura. Although our births were seen as miraculous, our lives were forever linked, a bond that could only be broken by death.

As we grew up, our differences became more obvious. My amulet seemed to make my life even harder, but I continued to be kind despite the hatred I received. My attempts to help others often made them uncomfortable because of my dark aura. In contrast, Silvia’s powers—controlling the elements and nature—were impressive, but her arrogance and cruelty ruined her potential. She used her abilities to control and dominate, often causing more harm than good.

Even though Silvia had great power, she showed little interest in helping others. Her actions were driven by self-gain, and while the villagers were amazed by her abilities, they grew wary of her harsh behavior. My genuine compassion was overshadowed by the discomfort my aura caused, leaving the villagers torn between admiring Silvia and being wary of me.

Chapter 2: The Rift Deepens

As the years passed, our paths grew further apart. Silvia’s powers continued to grow, and her demands on the village increased. She created storms for her own entertainment and changed the seasons according to her whims, with little regard for the damage she caused. The villagers, who once admired her, began to resent her growing arrogance and disregard for their well-being.

In contrast, I remained dedicated to supporting the village. Despite my cursed amulet, I worked hard to mend broken homes and offer emotional support. My selflessness was a clear contrast to Silvia’s destructive actions. The villagers came to rely on my gentle strength and became increasingly disappointed with Silvia’s behavior.

Our relationship became strained as Silvia’s cruelty extended to me. She mocked my efforts and belittled my kindness. Even though her harshness hurt me, I continued to hope for a better relationship between us. Unfortunately, Silvia’s bitterness only grew, leading to more conflicts and emotional distance.

Chapter 3: The Crisis Unfolds

One fateful day, the gods who gave Silvia her powers decided she needed to prove herself as the village’s savior. A terrible natural disaster struck—the village was hit by violent earthquakes and fierce storms. Even though Silvia could have used her powers to stop the chaos, she chose to stay away, indifferent to the village’s suffering.

Despite my weakened state, I worked tirelessly to help as many people as I could. I organized relief efforts, took care of the wounded, and offered comfort to those who were grieving. My selflessness shone brightly amid the disaster as I used every bit of my strength to help others.

The villagers, who had once been divided between admiring Silvia’s powers and appreciating my kindness, now saw the true nature of each twin. They came together to support me, recognizing my role as the heart and soul of their community. Silvia’s refusal to help left her isolated, her powers useless in the face of the disaster she ignored.

Chapter 4: My Final Act

As the crisis finally began to end, the toll on me was clear. My health had worsened significantly, and I could no longer continue my tireless efforts. Even so, I remained a source of comfort and inspiration, and my unending spirit showed my boundless love. The villagers, deeply touched by my sacrifice, celebrated me as a hero who had given everything for the sake of others.

Silvia, still caught up in her arrogance, stayed detached. Her final act was a display of her usual cruelty—a cold, dismissive farewell as I approached the end of my life. Her refusal to show empathy or regret left a lasting mark on her true character. As I passed away, the curse lifted, and my legacy lived on in the hearts of the villagers as a symbol of selfless love and sacrifice.

Silvia’s story became a sad reminder of the consequences of power without kindness. The village, forever marked by our contrasting lives, honored my memory by living out the values I had taught them, while Silvia’s tale served as a cautionary example of how divine gifts can be overshadowed by a heart of stone. In the end, the gods, who had never eased my suffering, turned me into a rock—a monument to last for thousands of years to come.
