Previously on Loveless: The Beginning of Hell
Kiara Chauhan entered the Rathod family under traumatic circumstances. After being assaulted during a work trip, she believed Aryan Rathod was the man responsible. Her attempt to seek justice led to threats against Nikita, and Kiara was ultimately forced into marrying Aryan. She entered the Rathod family believing Aryan had destroyed her life and was determined to hate him.
Despite Kiara’s hatred, Aryan repeatedly protected and cared for her. He saved her from dangerous situations, secretly donated blood to save her life, and protected her from Reyansh Malhotra. Yet Aryan’s secrecy and suspicious actions—including interference with medical reports—only strengthened Kiara’s belief that he was hiding something.
Reyansh Malhotra offered a deal to Kiara, who became involved with him while searching for answers and trying to protect the people she loved, but Reyansh had his own agenda, and little did he know that she, too, was playing a game. He repeatedly targeted Aryan’s business, demanded Rathod contracts, and used threats to gain control over both Kiara and Aryan.
Kiara’s revenge also affected the wider Rathod family. Evidence connected to Aadarsh Rathod and bribery damaged his political position and created further problems for the family and their company.
Nikita became deeply involved in the Rathods’ conflicts after being manipulated and forced into a false marriage arrangement with Kartik Rathod. At the same time, she grew close to Rishabh Rathod, Aryan’s brother. Rishabh repeatedly protected Nikita but insisted that he did not love her and wanted her to focus on her studies.
Nikita faced repeated danger, including kidnappings and attacks. Maya, Rishabh’s former fiancée, became jealous and dangerous and eventually abducted Nikita to separate her from him. Rishabh rescued Nikita and married her at a temple after a deal with Kiara, but immediately made it clear that the marriage was only in name and that he did not want her to expect a real relationship.
Aditi’s marriage to Ajay turned abusive, and he repeatedly attacked and controlled her while claiming that marriage gave him rights over her body. Aditi rejected this completely and fought back. She also became involved in dangerous scientific work after MK targeted her research and forced her into working for him.
Kartik repeatedly protected Aditi from Ajay and other dangers, creating a complicated bond between them. However, Aditi also discovered that Kartik had been involved in destroying reports connected to Kiara’s case for Aryan’s sake, leaving her conflicted about whether she could trust him.
The biggest turning point came when Kiara began questioning everything she believed about her assault. The DNA evidence was negative, and she realized Aryan had never forced himself on her. Medical reports and hospital records had also been altered or destroyed, proving that someone had deliberately interfered with the evidence.
Kiara finally confronted Aryan and demanded to know why he had allowed her to believe he was her attacker. Aryan admitted that he did not rape her, but he still refused to reveal why he had taken the blame.
The truth became undeniable when Kiara encountered another man who appeared to be Aryan. She realized that the real Aryan was unconscious elsewhere, confirming that the man connected to her assault was someone else who looked like him.
Aryan was repeatedly targeted by Reyansh and his enemies. He survived several attacks but was eventually injected with a dangerous substance that caused his health to deteriorate badly.
Kiara’s feelings toward Aryan slowly changed. She could no longer ignore everything he had done to protect her, and her hatred gradually turned into guilt, attachment, and love. During an emotional night after being attacked at a pub, Kiara confessed her love to Aryan and admitted how important he had become to her.
Aryan continued pushing Kiara away despite clearly caring about her. He warned her not to love him and continued hiding the truth behind his decision to take responsibility for the crime she believed he had committed.
Kiara also discovered that she was pregnant. The pregnancy was connected to the trauma of her assault, due to which she decided to get an abortion.
Kiara discovered more mysteries connected to the Rathods, including Sia, Hotel Grandiano, and its mysterious hidden 15th floor. Aryan’s interest in the hotel and Kiara’s search for evidence suggested that important secrets were being hidden there.
By the end of Book 1, Kiara knows one thing for certain: Aryan did not rape her. However, she still does not know why he allowed himself to be blamed, whom he is protecting, or the identity of the real man responsible for her assault.
Aryan remains seriously ill after being injected with the dangerous virus. While his condition worsens, Kiara discovers that Reyansh is responsible and has access to the cure. Desperate to save Aryan, Kiara chooses him over everything else and obtains the cure.
Reyansh secretly orders Aryan’s hospital to be set on fire. Kiara races into the burning building carrying the cure and finally reaches Aryan. By then, Aryan has learned that the virus is N920 and that a cure exists, but he collapses before learning more, seeing Kiara running toward him for one last time.
