An Intriguing Dip into the Psychology of Intimacy
"Andrew, this was an intriguing (and sexy) read. While, I agree with the one reviewer, that the POV in the first few chapters was a bit confusing here and there, the concept was exceptionally well put together. You've definitely hit upon the points I have been saying for years about societal and cultural constructs inhibiting happiness in both men and women. If done with the right (consensual) intentions, sex should not be considered "dirty" or "sinful." Women are oftentimes conflicted with the desire to be sexy, but an explicit fear of being considered anything outside of the "good girl" construct. On the opposing hand, men oftentimes want the tenderness expressed in this book, but society emasculates him for it. I'm happy to see a book that defies the tropes and lays it on the line. Humans are one of the few creatures of this earth who copulate for pleasure, not solely for reproduction, so of course, there's a deeper connection with sexuality and our bodies and minds. I honestly believe there's no one correct way to bring about healing. And I also believe we tap into so little of the power the mind has in its role in healing. While it may not be for every situation or person, the idea that sex can heal shouldn't be dismissed. Very well done! "

"I'm no critic by any means but I shall try my best. The plot was interesting and sexy. I enjoyed the characters as well. I think that it is a good read for an after-work day. Perfect to curl up in the comfy chair with."

"I tried to read this and the writing seemed good, but the first person perspective was too off-putting and I couldn't continue. Could you possibly change it to a third person perspective? Or if you are writing from the first person perspective, make the narrator a storyteller, telling events which have happened in the past and aren't happening in the present."
