"So glad this story is back to being updated!! (Along with Desert wolf which goes back and tells some of the story from our beloved Sil’s point of view!) while frustrating AF (!) the last boon was a great read and this one may be even better as many characters are established enough to let them grow a good bit, we’re in a new setting, and people seem to have a better idea of what they want. My only notes have actually become favored quirks of the writing style. I’ve spent the last three days catching up on everything that has been updated recently. Now I’m back to sucking down each new addition—a blessing and curse as it leave me hungry for more! "

This story(books 1 & 2) is very well written and has twists and turns and reveals that make you not want to stop reading. The author is not afraid to sacrifice loved characters, nor let the villains win, which is realistic. I look forward to the day these and all her other books are published legitimately and I can purchase them in a bookstore for my physical collection. "

"First, go read Winter Wolf. Lo will make you crazy at times. Tristan is going to make you slightly murderous. This story will torment you in the most delicious ways, and you are going to love every second of it. But now, my friends, we find ourselves at the pinnacle of character development. This plot is SO good — I think about it constantly. My poor little neurodivergent brain produces intrusive thoughts about these characters all the time. This story was on hold for a bit, but R Mason is back, and we are all so grateful she’s gracing us again with new chapters and her brilliance. Everyone is going to be very nice and supportive... or I will pull a Sil 😂❤️"

"- I genuinely am intrigued by this series and I hope to see more finished book 1 and honestly i expected the war to go a little different because of all the connections she had made with other packs. I expected the people she brought together to step up for her and her pack i even expected that in the mountains she would come to learn to harness her inner alpha and be trained by her grandmother and others to really take on the position I hope we find out who the traitor is soon cause clearly it’s either Nathan or Emma but they mentioned male so it’s probably Nathan. Waiting for big plot twists, waiting for more growth, i definitely think the mountains is where she learns to speak up and really lock into her alpha status "
