"A very well written work about eldritch beings and their manifestations. I’m afraid I don’t know much about eldritch horror but this entire work had a sense of cosmic dread, a prophecy that Henry can’t escape from. Even worse is the idea that Henry could have chosen an alternative, but fell into the temptation of prophecy. Whether he really is an eldritch being, someone born from the sea, or so manipulated into believing such an absurd testimony, I don’t think it’s clear. And that’s what I like about it, is it’s about interpretation. We will never know if it’s true because we can sense his personal truth through his narration, or if he really is just absolutely bonkers. "
