The Reunion
As the clouds over Munich started to turn gray, the air was filled with heavy grief.Atleast now i can cry without anybody realising,Nina said to herself as tears fell down her face. She stared at the bouquet of white lillies atop the casket,as she held her grandmother's shawl close.she was lost in old memories, the kind only loss could bring. It was the first time she felt this alone, suddenly a voice came from behind."Nina!"it felt familiar, almost nostalgic.like she knew this voice, like she've met this person somewhere before.Turning, she saw a girl around the same age as her, with short brown hair and almond eyes. Her eyes was the only thing Nina recognized. It was her childhood friend Eva.She wanted to cry after meeting Eva after so many years but she didn't have the energy to.She stared at her blankly suppressing the urge to just hug her and forget every worry. It has been around 9 years since they were separated.Eva's family moved to England where her relatives lived.'I thought we'll never meet again',said Nina.'Me too,we came back months ago but i couldn't find you anywhere near Berlin,i finally found you but in this situation.I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Clara'.well it's fate, everybody dies. How're your parents?
Did you forget,my dad died when i was 5,he was a policeman.oh right,sorry.
