It's more of a dark story than just romance
"The writer had some interesting concepts going. Unfortunately, it wasn't cohesive, and the romance was lackluster because of this. Initially, it started off as a horrific thriller, and then some aspects were dragged on for too long just to create mystery and suspense, but it didn't pay off. I would've loved to learn more about the characters and the kind of society they exist in. Instead, there was a lot of random bloodshed and plot holes. "
