Interessante Storyline
"Die Handlung überzeugt durch einen interessanten Spannungsbogen, wenngleich die Darstellung der sozialen Strukturen Fragen aufwirft. Insbesondere die Zeichnung der Wikinger als Charaktere ohne feste Bindungen mag zwar unter die künstlerische Freiheit des Autors fallen, weicht jedoch von historisch belegten Lebensmustern ab. Historischer Kontext (Tipp) Geschichtliche Erkenntnisse belegen, dass die Wikinger aus den keltischen Kulturkreisen hervorgingen, in denen eheähnliche Gemeinschaften das soziale Fundament bildeten. Das Leben eines Nordmanns war zudem meist zweigeteilt: Viking: Von der Jugend bis ins späte Alter wurden Seereisen unternommen, um Handel zu treiben oder Beute zu machen. Heimat: Parallel dazu existierte eine sesshafte Gesellschaft mit festen familiären Strukturen und bäuerlicher Lebensart."

A wonderful origin story!
"This story was a wonderful reimagining of the werewolf origin story from a Scandinavian perspective, as opposed to the Greek. The accompanying love story was sweet and magical as the Viking leader fought to keep her all to himself. I love how the Author describes scenery and lifestyle. The HEA wasn't some quick wrap up but melded into a future view of their forever. A truly beautiful read."
