"The Blood Moon signifies a time of mating for most wolves. But not without playing a dirty little game, first. The females are made to strip bare, their nude bodies glistening in the moonlight. Then after each man had examined them and made their silent choice, the women are forced to shift into wolf form and run as fast as they can. The male wolves chase them, spurring the females on. To loose this game means rape. None of this bothers Goldie who is the most desired wolf of all, with her sunset, red hair and glorious, golden pelt. Everyone wants her, including Alrec the selfish son of Alpha Azar. He knows that this will be the run that would put Goldie firmly in his bed. But he wasn’t counting on the charismatic and dominant Vaughn a true Alpha, just like Alrec’s father. He too has his sights set on the rare beauty. But what both men fail to understand is Goldie’s determination not to become any man’s prize. Even if there is something a little stimulating about the way Vaughn looks at her. An enjoyable story. I like Martha Greene’s take on the Blood Moon ceremony, which is different from the one I wrote about (and that’s fine too. There’s a lot of fun ideas that can be created with Blood Moons and wolves. Lol) I haven’t finished the novel yet, but I’m guessing Goldie is looking forward to her ‘capture’. Heh-heh. This is the perfect novel when you’re in the mood for a steamy, werewolf romance. "
