Chapter 1: The Interaction
SKY WAKE UP! YOU GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL”‐ my mom shouted from downstairs. I got up from my bed and looked around the room, many boxes were lying around waiting to be unpacked. I went to the bathroom to have a look at myself in the mirror.
My name is Skyler C. Woodwere, I’m fifteen years old, and today will be my first day at my new school after we shifted to a new city because of me.
I showered, dried myself, walked to my closet, and grabbed something decent to wear.
I went downstairs and saw my mum waiting at the door for me - ” Are you ready? ” - “Yeah I guess ” - I replied to her question, she smiled at me and we left for school.
The drive didn’t take long or I thought so as I was busy in my world. I got out of the car, looked around, and saw many beasts and humans roaming around. ” Sky, I’ll be leaving for work now. I have already talked to your principal and explained everything. Go meet him in his office he will give you your schedule and everything else you need. “- my mum instructed me briefly. I just nodded, thanked her, and entered the school through the front door.
As soon as I entered the campus I saw many beasts and humans talking, laughing, and hanging around together. As I walked through the hallway I found myself thinking how different this place was from my old school but, my thoughts were interrupted when I bumped into someone - ” HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING DUMB ASS ” - I looked at the person whom I bumped into, he was a wolf, and he was kinda tall, and muscular but what caught my eye was his emerald green eyes shining brightly in broad daylight as if they were carrying some magic with them.
" I’m sorry. I didn’t pay attention” - I apologized to him immediately, and he just let out a sigh - ” It’s okay, I haven’t seen you around here. Are you new? ” - he asked me ” Yes, today is my first day ” - I replied to his question. - “Well that’s good. My name’s Kevin ” - ” I’m Skyler ” - I introduced myself to him. - “You got a pretty name “- I blushed hearing his compliment, no one ever said to me that my name was good maybe he was one of those who liked to flirt around. I thought of asking him for help with directions because I didn’t knew where the principal’s office was - “C-could you please tell me where the principal’s office is? ” - I asked him - ” sure, go straight and take the next left you’ll see his office. ” - he told me while pointing out the direction with his hand. I thanked him, and he smiled at me and left with his friends but his tail was also slightly wagging. I’m not going to lie but he was handsome and also cute.
I followed the directions the wolf told me and reached the office. I knocked on the door - “Come in ” - I heard someone say and entered the office.
