Chapter 1
Setting: A foggy evening at an old, abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town.
Lara: (shivering) Why did we come here again? This place gives me the creeps.
Mark: (smiling) Come on, it’s just a house. A little history won’t hurt. Besides, didn’t you always want to explore the unknown?
Lara: (sighing) I guess. But what if there are ghosts?
Mark: (teasingly) Then we’ll just ask them nicely to let us in!
As they enter, the door creaks open, revealing a dusty hallway. They hear whispers echoing.
Lara: (whispering) Did you hear that?
Mark: (nervously) Probably just the wind. Let’s check it out.
