Prologue
“Game over.” a robotic voice came from the Nintendo. “Come on how do I always lose.” he sets his controller on the bed beside him. “I’m just to good.” the boy put out his hand to his friend as his friend set a five-dollar bill down in his hand “well I think your cheating, there’s no way that you beat me when I picked the best cart and the best player.” he got up from the bed making his way to his bag and placing a blue binder in his bag. “I told you to stop using the carts and to use the motorcycles they drift way better.” he said as he turned off the controllers and the console. “Anyway, my moms making salmon for super, and you know I love salmon, so I better be getting home” he picks up his bag and makes his way out his best friend's room but before he left, he wanted to check something. “OH NICO” he ran back into his friends room “check your heart rate lets see if I can at least beat you with this” Nico checks his heart rate and Ezra does the same “Ha 83 beat that” Nico looks down at his watch to see the number 98 but instead of telling Ezra he lost he said “come on, mines 72 looks like you won” he looks at him to see Ezra’s face lite up “YESSSS finally, oh crap my moms calling got to go see you at school tomorrow” Ezras voice faded away as he walked farther away from Nico.
