Prologue: A Few Hours After Chad's Building Exploded
In Luke’s office, Luke had finally finished signing all the papers. “Will there be anything else sir?” his worker asked. “No that’ll be all,” Luke replied and the worker left. Luke grabbed an envelope and put the papers inside, to close it, he stamped the back with his symbol. A symbol that was a family crest of sorts and that he’d use for his company anytime they needed to send a letter. The symbol was that of The Holy Trinity.
In my father's building, I decided to pay him a visit. “What brings my dear son to the snake’s den?” Luke asked. “Is a normal family visit not realistic enough for you dad? does it always have to be business?” I asked. Luke laughed, “Of course a normal family visit is always appreciated, but we both know that’s just not you,” Luke replied as he got up from his chair and walked towards me.
“Fair enough, Chad’s building has fallen, or did you not notice?” I asked sarcastically. “Of course I noticed son, you passed the test with flying colors,” Luke said with sarcasm. I looked at my father with confusion. “A test? I doubt something such as blowing up a building would be a test," I said.
"Jack believe it or not while you are where you are, I will be testing your loyalty to this company," my father said, putting his hand on my shoulder. "I'm going to give you one chance," he said. "A chance for what dad?" I asked, "A chance to defy me son," Luke replied smiling. I stood there in shock, to defy him? I didn't know how to reply to that.
