Chapter 1

I was awoken by the sounds of yelling out of the street. I looked at the clock on my bedside table and it was 3 am. Who the fuck is yelling at this time.

I got out of bed and looked out the window and that’s when I saw them pulling a man out of the house just across the road from me.

I run downstairs and out the front door, running towards the man who looks like he needs help.

“Get the fuck off him,” I yelled pulling this man’s hand.

He let go of the man and turned around to slap me across the face.

“Get the fuck back in your house before I fucking kill you two.” he hissed.

I couldn’t let someone kill another person it’s not right. I slapped the back of the man but someone pulled away grabbing me by my hair. I yelled but no one was going to come out at this time or to help.

“Shut up fuck up.” another says.

“Please I’m sorry let me go. I promise I go back to my house.” I begged.

I pulled my head back so that the pain would stop but it didn’t. Why did I come out to help his man who I did not even know??

I watch as the man before me pulls out a gun from his back pocket and aims it at the man’s head. I pulled free hugged the unknown man beside me and closed my eyes.

Bang!

Bang!

BANG!

I screamed my body wanted to fall but he didn’t let me.

“Did I prove myself today boss.?” the man walks up to the one holding me.

“You sure did now get rid of the body while I took care of her.” he smiled and looked at me.

I didn’t want to die not just yet.

“Please let me go. I won’t say anything I promise you.” a tear falls down my face.

“I let you go for now but remember princess don’t run out of the house when you see people at three in the fucking morning,” he says and kisses my head.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me.
