".....okay, ,let's end the meeting here and Mr. Mehra, I expect a little more better from you" , saying this I end my meeting here which started 2 hours ago. I started moving from the conference room to my cabin. I was sitting on my chair when Mayank, my secretary came inside.
He started giving me updates on our deals and upcoming contracts which I wasn't really paying attention to. I am not usually like this, ,my work is very important to me but sometimes I just get tired from working for hours.
Wait, did I mention I have been working for past 6 hours non stop. I am tired. I really want to go home and take a shower.
"..and ma'am if A.S. groups sign this deal they will really achieve something or might overpower us." Wait! Did he say A.S. Now that's something interesting. But what did he say.
I gave a sheepish grin to him. "I am sorry Mayank. But can you please say again. Uh- and not about our contacts and all but about A.S."
Mayank is like my small brother. Other than being a secratary he really cares for me and I won't forget to mention he has been with me since I was in US.
"Yes ma'am. The A.S. groups are going to sign their deal with Siddharth Kapoor. And after signing this deal their business will grow more." I looked at him with a smirk."it's the same Siddharth Kapoor right, who has been running after me for around 1 year now." He replied yes to my question.
Now that's something more interesting. " Arrange a meeting with Mr Kapoor."
Siddharth Kapoor is a playboy. Last year he saw me in a party and ever since then he is been running after me. I thought okay, why not consider him dating untill I saw him making our with the waitress in the washroom where we were supposed to meet.
Well, I was not at all hurt. What can I even expect from men like him. But that dude got no shame. He still begs me to fucking date him. As if!.

"Have you really thought about him." My father said as soon as I entered the mansion. Where's the 'how was your day ' question.
"Yes dad I did. I am going to marry him." I said while sitting on the sofa. "You know what kind of man he is, Maya. He will cheat on you."
"He won't dad. After all its all about business. I will get what I want and A.S. will lose the deal." I said and went into my room.
Yeah, I met that fuckboy today.
5 hours ago.
"I want you to take your deal back which you are signing with A.S."I said while taking a sip of my Latte. He looked at me with a weird expression.
"And why do you think I would do that." I put my drink on the table and crossed my legs and spoke, " You do what I want and in return I will do what you want."
"And that is- date me?" He asked with an amused expression."Marry me" I replied with a straight face. "Wait- are you serious. Like, till last week you weren't even ready to look at my face and today you want to marry me. Must be something big, right, Miss Maya Aggarwal?" He said getting interested in my business.
"I can do anything to get what I want. And if this is how I hurt Adhrit, I will fucking do that." I just can't tolerate that Adhrit piece of a shit Singh.
"Okay, I do like you sweetheart but I don't trust you. So, we are going to sign a contract." What did I even expect from this shit.
"Okay, I will send you the contract tomorrow and we are having our marriage on 26th of this month." I spoke, got up from my seat and went from there.

Marriage has really not been in my list. But I just can't let Adhrit win. I can't forget how behind that handsome face is a man who likes to backstab others.
I just can't forget how I fucking liked him when I saw him until he made that mess. I will not let him get what he wants even if that means marrying a playboy.
God! Can I just escape this shit...

My father is really angry and so is my mother. Obviously they would, after my engagement's news. Yesterday after coming back home I asked Mayank to arrange a press conference today for the engagement news. Afterall Adhrit should know, the reason for Siddharth to back out of the deal.
Conference was easy. Just answering the useless questions of the reporters. I can just imagine the look on Adhrit's face. He doesn't like losing, and I will make sure he does.
Ever since I returned from US, two years ago, it's been a news for people to discuss about our companies rivalry. Earlier it was between our fathers and now it's between us.
I will make sure my children won't have to participate in this rivalry. I will end it.
Siddharth's deal is not really a big Matter for both of our companies. But it's about taking things from each other because ofcourse you don't like when someone takes what you have.
And I will do exactly that.
