Prologue
The ground trembled as reality cracked open, causing trees to fall to the ground. Flames rose into the night sky, painting the starry sky in smoke and ashes. Vadis clung to a stone wall, catching his breath as the peaceful tides of his realm turned into tsunamis. He glared at the giant beam of chaos magic rising into the night sky from the center of Celion. The once blue oceans of symphony slowly faded into a deep red as the blood of mortals and gods bled into it.
The bodies of the mortals who prayed to the gods swiftly descended from the sky as they plummeted into the deep abyss of the ocean below. His eyes widen in defeat and regret as the bodies of those he respected vanish beneath the waves.
“It seems like she is more powerful than we imagined.” A cold, deep voice rang out behind Vadis. A hand grabbed Vadis and pulled him away from the ocean.
Vadis turned to look at Kaiser, the primordial god of wind and music, glaring at the giant red beam coming from the city. “She’s killed many mortals already,” Vadis murmured his voice, trying not to break. “She even killed Odessa!” Kaiser’s heart instantly dropped to his stomach.
“You don’t mean...”
“Yes, that Odessa, the goddess of order and justice!" Vadis’ voice broke as he struggled to even speak. Kaiser couldn’t help but pull Vadis into a hug, trying to calm down the now-crying deity. Vadis heart sank when he felt something was off. “Where is Utlene?”
Kaiser froze, not entirely sure how to tell the poor god about the moon goddess. “How do I say this?" He was silent for a couple of seconds, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "Utlene... she was injured in the fight.”
Vadis heart dropped to the pit of his stomach. Utlene was the goddess of the moon and a special someone he held close to his heart.
A spiral of flames flew through the air and struck the ever-slightly growing chaos beam. Kaiser looked at the flames, sensing that ever-warm essence within it.
“It’s Kona,” he said as he helped Vadis stand steadily. A giant boulder was lifted into the air, surrounded by green essence. An essence that is usually filled with joy and sassiness is now filled with hatred and anger.
Meanwhile in Celion, a red-haired goddess flicked her wrist as fire formed, slowly turning into a sword. She glared at the black-haired goddess who stood before her, casting the spell that’s causing Theonova to shift.
“Cassandra….Goddess of chaos and discord.” The deity said as she gripped her sword ever so thicker. The black-haired goddess just stared at the fire deity.
“Ah.~ Kona, Goddess of Flames and War." Cassandra said as if she had been waiting for this moment. Kona took a step forward, the ground beneath her shaking as she closed the gap between her and the chaos deity before her. Cassandra raised her palm towards Kona. She muttered the words perish. The ground began to crack as boulders floating in the air descending towards Kona.
The boulders exploded into pieces as a green blade cut through them. Kona smiled as she sensed that familiar aura. Cassandra, not liking the interference, raised her hands but was quickly hit in the back by a giant gust of wind, sending her to the ground. A tide wave slammed into her as she struggled to stand up, sending her flying into a wall.
“Of course you would call for backup.” Cassandra growled as she stood up, eyes lifted to the 4 primordial deities standing before her.
