Prologue
Another day and another subjects to study, I have to ace it all. The pressure is building up and I can’t take it anymore. If I fail, I’ll die. The disappointment will kill me if I fail. They’ll say “She’s a Thompson, right? How could she fail?” and it hurts.
My family are quite well known, I was the youngest. My older sister left our school with a legacy. Expectation was a lot. If I said a lot, literally, a lot. It hurts when I hear the word, “I thought she’s very smart” even if it’s only a small mistake.
I have to keep my title “The Brain”. Even if I die because of it, I have to hold it, forever. No one, literally, no one, can take it away from me. Because I am Aria Heather Thompson, the one and only brain of Elven High.
