Chapter 1 - Lilly heartstring
Lilly was an ordinary girl, black wavy hair, one green eye, one blue eye, white, soft skin, and a great liking for dresses and girly things. However, this all changed when she turned 16, as she received a letter from Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first, Lilly assumed it was some joke letter from a kid from her school, but then a knock at the door caught her attention, she quickly stood up from the table knocking her cereal back slightly and grabbing the door. "He-" she was cut off by a tall, old woman wearing green robes and a witch hat. "Hello, Miss.Heartstring, I am proffesser McGonagall, from Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Proffesser McGonqgall stated. "Hogwarts school of what what?" Lilly replied, somewhat confused. "You heard me. I'm here to inform you of what you are." Proffeser McGonagall replied.
After a very long talk with lilly and her mom, she was ready to go to bed. And that's what she did. As soon as proffesser McGonagall apperated away. Lilly went to bed. "What a day, " she thought to herself. Soon after, she fell asleep.
The next morning, Lilly was awoken by a rather eager mother telling her, "lilly! Get up! We have to go to.. diagon alley today!" Lilly nodded and got up. She put on a green, tight crop top on, some riped light blue jeans, and she brushed her black, wavy hair. She was thinking of cutting it short, but for now, It'll have to do. She grabbed her purse and put it over her shoulder. She was ready. Lilly skipped down the stairs and went into the kitchen to be greeted by the smell of delicious pancackes and maple syrup. Her favourite. "Thanks, mom!" Lilly barked exitedly. "No problem, my little witch." Her mother spoke with a tone of proudness. Lilly practically inhaled her breakfast. Boy, was she hungry. After her mom wahsed lilly's dish, she went out to the car where lilly was already sat in the passenger seat.
Mom's POV:
I always knew my daughter lilly was special, and after last night, my suspicion was confirmed. My little lilly was a witch. She was rather exited today, all dressed up, make-up, and all. This was unusual for her because usually she'd wear a hoodie, a messy bun, and some shorts and sliders. She was definitely excited for today, I mean, who wouldn't be? She found out she's a witch, someone capable of real magic. It's not every day you find out your daughter is a witch, let alone she is 5 years late to show enough magic to go to a magic school. It was certainly a suprise at the most.
Today, I made Lilly her favourite food, pancackes with maple syrup, and even put a little honey inside the pancackes. I felt that making a special breakfast for my special girl was necessary. When she finished, I washed the dishes, and when i grabbed my keys, my bag, and put my shoes on, I found her already in the car sat on her phone writing in her diary, she was definitely exited. "Lilly, you realise those dont work at your new school?" I said while starting up the engine.
Lilly's POV:
"Yes, mom, I know phones or tablets dont work at hogwarts, im just so excited!" Lilly yapped on and on as they drived. Finally, at diagon Alley, once Lilly had gotten everything, she had to pick an animal companion. The choices were certainly interesting. Rats, mice, owls, cats, even snakes. Lilly decided on a black owl with the same eyes as her, one green, one blue. She decided to name it midnight. And as they went home with all her stuff, she packed a suitcase and put midnight in her cage. She couldn't wait for tomorrow morning, where she'd finally go to hogwarts! She made sure everything was ready, and she rumaged through her room, and found two diarys one violet one green, both untouched, if she couldn't use a phone, she'd have to stick to books, not that she minded, she quite enjoyed reading and writing.
She tried to sleep early but she just couldn't, so she decided to take a walk around the park, she made sure to open the window and unlock midnights cage before she left, just incase midnight needed a stretch of wings. As lilly set off down the street, her footsteps in the light rain paddled. She loved the rain, and then she thought about hogwarts while sat on a swing, in her old school she couldn't really make friends, she was always the wierd kid, but maybe at hogwarts she'd finnaly fit in.
