Summary

Bound by destiny and haunted by forgotten lives, Venus Ryu, Kim Kai, and Choi San are trapped in a timeless web of love and betrayal. Venus and Kai were once soulmates, but in another life, their bond ended in blood. Now, as Kai reappears, neither can explain the dark pull between them. Venus’ childhood friend, Choi San, has become her fiercest rival, but beneath their animosity lies something unspoken, buried in years of silence. As fragments of their pasts begin to surface, Venus faces an impossible choice: follow the path fate has carved or defy it for a love shrouded in mystery.

I’ve wanted to write this book for a while, but I couldn't find the right idols. Thanks to Moldirre, who introduced me to a group I once said I’d never listen to, *Metaris* was born on Wattpad. The book has been planned since November 13, 2020, but it’s only now that I’ve managed to organize my ideas.

As for genre, I’d say it falls under drama, fantasy, with a bit of mystery, some comedy, and fanfiction. I can’t guarantee it won’t be a little cringy in some places. English is not my first language so bear with me on this one.

Republished in 2024, after a 3-year break, I finally found the time and motivation to finish and publish this book. It holds a special place in my heart, and I hope it will in yours as well.

Special thanks to Moldirre and the other wonderful people who read, vote, and comment on my works.
