"I absolutely loved this novel, read it in no-time. There's lots of twists and unexpected events which makes you continue to read and not being able to put it down for long. You'll start to like the characters from the very beginning, especially Catherine and Philip were my favourites. Though the end was not what I expected at first, I think that was the best ending I could have imagined. I would recommend this book to anyone! Keep on writing Liah!"

"I was reading a fictional book after a long time and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was difficult for me to put the book down, even if I was very sleepy. There were times that i cried for the charterers :-) Liah has very beautifully interwoven different real-world historical events into this story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it."
Lose yourself in Hidden Doorways
"Hidden Doorways was a fantastic read. The writing was so splendid and vivid, and the author really knows how to make you feel for the main character, Catherine. Time travel can always be hard to convey in books/movies with either too much technological jargon or plot holes galore, but Liah Thorley manages to guide the reader along at good pace. There's a twist that wasn't predictable and made everything that followed just reveal itself in layers. This is a definite page-turner and I highly recommend it."

"Great read! I couldn't put the book down while on holiday! Whenever I put a book down, I usually can imagine where the story is going but I found this story quite different from other reads and I began to become obsessed with finishing the book! I highly recommend it!"

" (SPOILER ALERT ) I was thinking "five stars! five stars!" and the book was going so well....until the part where Philip went through the door. It was obvious the author rushed through the ending after spending so much care and attention before this point. What did the new lab look like? How did Catherine feel when she finally got home and got to see her parents? So many unanswered questions. This is my only complaint. I thought this book was fantastic other than the ending. "
